Has anyone thought to yell, ‘Hard A Port!’ to the Captain?

Just throwin’ it out there.

*SMIRK* :)

I do find container trains tiresome to look at these days since it represents how we were made dependent on hostile left-wing countries.

Nuke it from orbit; it’s the only way to be sure.

I would love to see the math of how much wind pressure was on that ship.

Those are the same locations the Russians of the cold war focused thier communist revolutions on... while Americans were generally oblivious of that fact. Love and peace man, groovy.

I got a Ford F150 that could pull that out with a tether.

My Chevy Silverado would just need to drive up to that ship and the problem would be resolved. No one messes with my ‘Sylvia’

Truly, just get the camel humpers out of the way and let Americans solve the problem.

“Do the brits stll have a navy?”

Interesting question. They decided that to be taken seriously, and to make their own foreign policy, they needed not one, but two super carriers. They turned out (I’m shocked!) to cost way more than expected. Then, after several changes of government and shifting priorities, to finish the carriers they basically had to park the rest of the fleet. So, they have two super carriers that they can’t sail anywhere because, well, without the escort ships they’d be sitting ducks. This caused then PM, Theresa May, to propose to Trump that they integrate the British carriers into the American fleet. Which, means Britain can no longer have a foreign policy different than the US policy; exactly the opposite of what the British wanted. Sometimes the irony just hurts.

In answer to your question, well...yes and no.

Run the port side bow anchor ashore about 500 feet at about 300 degrees off the fore/aft line of the ship and set it. Have the freighter use her deck winch help winch herself off.

You want to open the Suez? Unload the ship ASAP. Tactical Nuke. Dredged to clean up the canal. Now you’ve got a canal with a large lake acting as passing lane/turning basin. In a few years when radiation levels have dropped you’ll have the start of a nice resort. Who allowed this big t*rd into the canal in the first place. This is just too big a coinkydink.

There are no coincidences.

I’m jaded enough to believe this was deliberate. Global economic chaos would certainly stoke more fear.

If tug boats can't tow it off what chance would the ship's windlass have of dragging it off?

All that and put a huge noodle around it and float her up just like tubers on the Frio River in Texas!!!!!!!

Hey, put a big flat tube around it about 10’ below water, air it up, start engines and she’s off!!!

Your welcome! Blonde Engineer from Texas

The tugs don’t have the room to pull at the right angle and their prop wash is pushing against the hull of the ship.

Have you seen the pictures? This ship and the containers form a giant sail 1300 feet long and several hundred feet high. It's going to catch heavy winds like a semi does on the interstate.

I’ve begun to doubt that events like this are anything but intentional.

The CCP Virus. The Hoaxes. The Steal and the American Red Revolution.

What? Me, paranoid?
