HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — NAACP, state and local officials on Wednesday denounced what they called continued racism at an Amazon warehouse construction site in Connecticut where eight nooses have been found within a month, despite additional security measures added last weekend.
The latest noose was found at the site in Windsor on Wednesday morning, the day of a scheduled meeting between workers and NAACP officials about safety and security, said Connecticut NAACP President Scot X. Esdaile.
“We have a serious problem in America and it hasn’t gone away,” Esdaile said. “It's deplorable. It’s sickening. It’s a sick mindset that Black people have to fight against.”
Amazon closed the site over the weekend, saying it was putting additional security measures in place after a seventh noose was found last week. The company closed the site again Wednesday to allow the FBI to investigate after the new noose was found under some electrical materials, Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said in a statement.

When is the last time one of these noose stories turned out not to be a hoax or a mistake that it was not really a noose. 40 years ago? Get over the noose crap. There are 330 million people in this country and this NAACP fool finding one noose immediately says entire country is racist. Overplay your hand much, fool?

I don’t remember nooses being a “thing”. Yeah, there were lynchings, but then the nooses were actually used. The Klan did the cross burning thing (I never understood the point of that, especially as most southern blacks are Christian), but the guys who mean business don’t go around with little hints and messages, they just DID it. The folks who work in Amazon warehouses are likely too young to remember lynchings even second-hand, and would more likely use graffiti or something else to make their point.
Perhaps if they didn’t shut down the entire construction site and splash it all over the media the perp(s) would get bored and stop doing it.
They can’t find the perps because the perps are black, and are probably the guys in charge of checking for the nooses.

We are probably at the point where where either 1) black racists plant these noose hoaxes to stir up a race war or 2) white people without any racial animosity are disgusted and fed up with being labeled “racist” for just existing plant these things to blow up the whole system.
