Whenever I see those trucks with their signs I’m reminded of the scene in John Candy’s “Canadian Bacon” movie. They are Americans and go to Canada to start a war with them. The truck is covered in slogans. They get pulled over in Canada by Dan Akroyd.

If we have to send a few Girl Scouts with BB guns to conquer Canada it might not be worth the cost in the long run. Is Canadian bacon any good?
We already have, with liberty and freedom, no need for troops.
Right now, the only thing that’s crazy is expecting sanity.
***Pretty good line, so I think I’ll update the tagline pagehttps://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3992415/posts?q=1&;page=343#343
You haven’t seen anything yet, wait until Biden puts George Soros Puppet on FCC board, she will shut down everything
Yes. Biden will send troops to help the Canadian military put down the trucker insurrection - in extremis, then establish a join state under the current American tyranny. Trudeau will remain as the Governor of the separate Canadian state under supervision of DC.
You’re hilarious.
I hope not. Every time we get involved elsewhere we end up stuck with the refugees.
I used to have a cousin, who was older than I, who emigrated with her husband from Germany to Canada in the 1950s and then in the 1960 from Canada to Los Angeles.
Blame Canada!
We already did. TWICE.
In 1775 the Continental army moved north from Ticonderoga and captured Montreal. They moved up the St. Lawrence. Benedick Arnold’s force left from MA and took a more difficult route up through Maine. They attacked Quebec City from two fronts but the British forces held. Eventually the Americans retreated.
Then in the war of 1812 General Hull, but again the British forces with help of Tecumseh repelled them and advanced taking Detroit.
I don’t get Canada, so this is not a rhetorical question:
Other than this convoy letting off steam, is there any indication that Canadians are going to change course? Politically, culturally.
So far, all we have is some inflammation due to covid mandates. A year from now, they may be as tolerant as before, of liberalism, of censorship, of gun “control” etc.
Complacency is like an object at rest, it tends to remain so. They seem to be more complacent than Americans, as long as the shelves are stocked.
“But here’s the thing – there are not enough Canadian flunkies to suppress all the Canadian deplorables.”
True everywhere. If you count bodies. How about if you count backbones?
If Justin tries to provoke some sort of violent incident, not only will it not work, but that will be the political end of Justin Trudeau, his Liberal Party of Canada, and also his chief enabler Jagmeet Singh (leader of the NDP)
good riddance, they’re all malicious power-crazed tyrants!!

I think we have a peace agreement with Canada?
I could be wrong about that.
But I think they give us lumber, maple syrup and beer.
And in exchange we don’t invade them.
And beer? I’ve never heard of Canadian beer. I’ve heard of Dutch beer, like Heineken
Excellent!
