The US has delivered hundreds of Stinger anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine for the first time over the last few days, including over 200 on Monday, according to a US official and a congressional source briefed on the matter.
Earlier this year the US gave the green light to Baltic countries including Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to send American-made weaponry that they have to Ukraine, including Stingers. But until now the Biden administration had held off on the US providing the Stingers directly to Ukraine, while they have provided other lethal weaponry.
Some members of Congress have been pushing for additional Stinger missiles to be sent to Ukraine for months. The Ukrainians have repeatedly made pleas more weaponry from the US, including anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons.
US Secretary of State Tony Blinken told reporters on Wednesday that at this time Ukraine is still able to receive “vital defensive military equipment” that it needs.

Why do I not believe this?
You nailed it.
About 20,000 anti-tank missiles are on the way.
That 40 mile convoy is about to become a 40 mile long scrap yard.
Does anyone else smell Fake news
Likely correct.
But inefficient.
Remember the “Road to Basra”
All they really need is a squad of A-10s.
A new Ho Chi Minh Trail?
Maybe we can all pitch in to get you a DVD of Red Dawn. When your VHS version no longer works. 😂🥱
Wolverines!! LOL!!
Get ready for the big KABOOM.
We are setting up the Ukraine for destruction. The city of Kyiv is about the size of San Diego at round 300 square miles. The only reason the city is still standing is because Putin needs it and doesn’t wish to level it. You can send all the stingers and lancers you wish, they will not stop the Russian equivalent of jdam which is the КАБ-500С-Э. It is a guided bomb, their first, and they have more than enough to take out a majority of the city and kill hundreds of thousands. If they make themselves too much of a nuisance and cost Putin too much, he can launch those and there isn’t a thing they can do about it. And we can’t really complain as we used them in Iraq. If Putin wants to do a lot of damage, he has the capacity without nuclear.

I wonder if they thought Russia would take Ukraine very fast, and they could just mostly ignore it till it was “over”?
How many are headed straight to the black market and 10% for the Big Guy?
China owns Hillary.
Remember the pilgrimage with a fleet of 747s she and The Rapist made to China during their first term in the White Hut to pay homage to their patrons, The Butchers of Beijing?
Remember when they let Bernard Schwartz give China Loral’s intercontinental ballistic missile technology?
I’m praying one gets sold by a corrupt Uke and used on Klaus Schwabs Jet.
I hope they delivered a ton of c4 to these guys, when these tanks try to start moving again, it is a perfect time to have massive charges to blow them to kingdom come.
How long till a Uke shoots a NATO jet across the border in Poland and everyone pretends Russia has attacked NATO?
It’s just awesome how the US and NATO just keep instigating WW3 more and more.
Well at least you admit the truth.
Like it or not, stockpirate, your allies in the fight against the so-called ‘deep state’ are as follows from about 12 hours ago in the UN vote:
Russia
Cuba
North Korea
Venezuela
Nicaragua
Eritrea
Belarus
Syria
they join
Paul Gosar
Thomas Massie
Matt Rosendale
Have fun.
So much for the Russian airforce.😳
Stingers were what broke the Soviets’ back in Afghanistan.
The Close Air Support pilots (SU-25 Frogfoot) won’t fly in the face of a credible threat of MANPADS. And if CAS isn’t flying, the armor won’t leave the motor pool. And if your grunts can’t get armor support, then motivated hillbillies with 40-year-old British bolt-action rifles and the home field advantage can have their way with them.
