Prince Andrew wants royal status ‘reinstated, recognised and respected’
Telegraph ^ | June 12 | Victoria Ward

Posted on 06/13/2022 12:09:53 AM PDT by RandFan

The Duke of York has asked the Queen to be reinstated as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, The Telegraph understands, as he pushes for a return to royal duties.

Prince Andrew has been lobbying the monarch for his status as a blood prince to be restored, meaning readmittance to official events alongside other members of his family.

He has also been pushing for his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, to be made working royals.

A source said: “The colonelcy of the Grenadier Guards was his most coveted title and he wants it back. Having remained a Counsellor of State, he also believes he should be included at royal and state events.

“Most importantly for him is his status as an HRH and ‘Prince of the Blood’ and he feels that should be reinstated and his position recognised and respected.”

As first revealed in The Telegraph, the Duke will appear in public on Monday alongside senior members of the Royal family at the annual Order of the Garter ceremony, resplendent in full regalia as he takes part in the colourful procession at Windsor Castle.

It will be his first official outing since he controversially took centre stage at the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service in March.

It’s possible that she had a surrogate and just doesn’t want to reveal it .

She sure wouldn't. That would take her out of the line. I am sure the Royals already know more than they let on, but they are not interested in public scandal, and they are keeping their ammo at the ready for anything the Markles might pull. Harry's manuscript got rejected. That means it wasn't salacious enough for the publishers. The Markles go through money like water, and they are running out of resources.

Every thug and perv would like to be treated with respect. Go into a prison as ask the killers if they’d like the same respect as the good and kind minister at the local church. They would. I’m sure at some point Andrew will be ‘forgiven’ but it’s way to early for that.

The House of Saxe-Coburg needs to die when Elizabeth dies. Period. Not my business if the Brits want to stay a monarchy or not. But that bloodline needs to end, as far as public influence is concerned.

Victoria was half Saxe-Coburg.
Her heir Edward VII was 3/4ths S-C.
His heir George V was 3/8ths S-C.
Elizabeth's father George VI was 3/16th S-C.
Elizabeth, whose mother was Scots gentry, is 3/32nds S-C.
Charles, whose father was Danish, Greek and Battenburg, is 3/64ths S-C.
William, whose mother was English nobility, is only 3/128ths Saxe-Coburg; and
William's son George, whose mother is an English commoner, is as Saxe-Coburg as Elizabeth Warren is Amerindian.

“Camilla and Charles have a true love story...”

So why don’t they live together? From 2010:

“Camilla had known for decades about Charles’s obsessional neatness around the house, especially over where and how certain objects are placed, and that this had grown worse as he got older: he is now 61, she 63 in July.

For his part, Charles, as a regular caller at Camilla’s home at Raymill, was familiar with her renowned domestic untidiness. But the problems go deeper than that.

‘When a woman’s been a man’s mistress for 30 years and then marries him, the relationship is bound to change,’ says one aged dowager who has known Camilla all her life.”

What form of government the Brits have is their business and not mine. But this bloodline has to go.

Guns don't kill people; people do.
Bloodlines don't kill people; policies do.
UK has been a parliamentary system since the 1600s.
The monarch is not a politician and does not make laws.
Before Brexit, the EU (founded in 1951) came to control 65% of British laws.

the BIG mistake was not letting Charles marry Camilla BEFORE either of them were married. The understanding is that Camilla was unacceptable because she wasn't a virgin, and that it was the Queen Mother who felt strongly.

But he hadn't asked her; and she married Andrew Parker-Bowles while Charles was away at sea. Charles was a randy dude, fully enjoying the decadent 1960s permissiveness, and wasn't particularly interested in settling down until his father insisted on it as Charles progressed into his 30s.

Here is a survey of many possible theories about Camilla from Wikipedia:

Camilla and Prince Charles reportedly met in mid-1971. Andrew Parker Bowles had ended his relationship with Camilla in 1970 and was courting Princess Anne, Charles's sister. Though Camilla and Charles belonged to the same social circle and occasionally attended the same events, they had not formally met. Their biographer Brandreth states the couple did not first meet at a polo match, as has been commonly believed. Instead, they first met at the home of their friend Lucía Santa Cruz, who formally introduced them. They became close friends and eventually began a romantic relationship, which was well known within their social circle. As a couple, they regularly met at polo matches at Smith's Lawn in Windsor Great Park, where Charles often played polo. They also became part of a set at Annabel's in Berkeley Square. As the relationship grew more serious, Charles met Camilla's family in Plumpton and he introduced her to some members of his family. The relationship was put on hold after Charles travelled overseas to join the Royal Navy in early 1973, and ended abruptly afterward.

There have been different explanations for why the couple's relationship ended. Robert Lacey wrote in his 2008 book Royal: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that Charles had met Camilla too early, and that he had not asked her to wait for him when he went overseas for military duties. Sarah Bradford wrote in her 2007 book Diana that a member of the close circle of his great-uncle Lord Mountbatten claimed Mountbatten arranged for Charles to be taken overseas to end the relationship with Camilla, to make way for an engagement between Charles and his granddaughter Amanda Knatchbull. Some sources suggest Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother did not approve of the match with Camilla because she wanted Charles to marry one of the Spencer family granddaughters of her close friend Lady Fermoy. Other sources also suggest Camilla did not want to marry Charles but instead wanted to marry Andrew Parker Bowles, having had an on-and-off relationship with Parker Bowles since the late 1960s, or that Charles had decided he would not marry until he was 30 years old.

Overall, the majority of royal biographers have agreed that even if Charles and Camilla wanted to marry or did try for approval to get married, it would have been declined, because according to Charles's cousin and godmother Patricia Knatchbull, 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma, some palace courtiers at that time found Camilla unsuitable as a wife for the future king. In 2005, she stated, "With hindsight, you can say that Charles should have married Camilla when he first had the chance. They were ideally suited, we know that now. But it wasn't possible."[...] "it wouldn't have been possible, not then."[...]

Harry is not the heir to the throne. He will never be.

Harry is still 6th in line to the throne, and has not been removed from the Order of Succession. The Queen cannot order it; only Parliament can, where there would certainly be a faction "of color" baying for it, should William's entire family meet with catastrophe -- something the appalling Markle joked about.

Camilla and Charles have a true love story...

Oh, please. Reportedly they hardly even live together, since she has a separate house and enjoys smoking and spending time with her grandchildren. Children are not one of Charles' favorite pasttimes, nor are his of much interest to her. They are a show couple like the Clintons or Obamas; fame and fortune are the glue holding them together.

Harry is still 6th in line to the throne,

I would love to see Duchess Catherine have some more children if she could, just to push the Markles down and see Meghan glower at Catherine even more. In 25 years, when George marries and has children Harry gets pushed down even farther and becomes even more of a joke.

My opinions of the British monarchy count as much as my opinions on the American oligarchy

Which is to say, precious little. Either UK or US, not so much. Increasingly little. Very little indeed. Very, very little. A scant amount. Don't blink any you'll miss it. A white spot on the road...

Yes, the rape of underage girls should have consequences.

I wish he’d name the other rapists.

I’m not entrenched in the royal family, but when I saw a pic of Lilibet I thought there’s no way that’s MM’s kid. Is it or isn’t it? Was MM actually pregnant? Was she pregnant with that particular child? Was the fertilized egg of another mother implanted in her? Inquiring minds want to know.

Uh the night before he married Diana it is a known fact he and Camilla had talked and exchanged gifts. She gave him jewelry with their nicknames engraved on them. Diana found them on the honeymoon. Their affair was the SOURCE aid Charles and Diana’s divorce. It wasn’t a the marriage failed so Charles found Camilla at the separation. Nope and it’s well documented.

So I do have my facts.
