Prince Andrew wants royal status ‘reinstated, recognised and respected’
Telegraph ^ | June 12 | Victoria Ward

Posted on 06/13/2022 12:09:53 AM PDT by RandFan

The Duke of York has asked the Queen to be reinstated as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards, The Telegraph understands, as he pushes for a return to royal duties.

Prince Andrew has been lobbying the monarch for his status as a blood prince to be restored, meaning readmittance to official events alongside other members of his family.

He has also been pushing for his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, to be made working royals.

A source said: “The colonelcy of the Grenadier Guards was his most coveted title and he wants it back. Having remained a Counsellor of State, he also believes he should be included at royal and state events.

“Most importantly for him is his status as an HRH and ‘Prince of the Blood’ and he feels that should be reinstated and his position recognised and respected.”

As first revealed in The Telegraph, the Duke will appear in public on Monday alongside senior members of the Royal family at the annual Order of the Garter ceremony, resplendent in full regalia as he takes part in the colourful procession at Windsor Castle.

It will be his first official outing since he controversially took centre stage at the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service in March.

The House of Saxe-Coburg needs to die when Elizabeth dies. Period.

Not my business if the Brits want to stay a monarchy or not. But that bloodline needs to end, as far as public influence is concerned.

No, no and no.

Though I suspect that once his mother passes he’ll get his wish from Charles.

“Not your business” but it should come to an end anyway?
It's up to the British people no?
Not up to Americans to decide.

That house is going to destroy the world, particularly starting with Liz’s children.

What form of government the Brits have is their business and not mine. But this bloodline has to go.

If other countries were to call for the end of the Biden Regime for the damage it is doing to the entire world’s economy, I wouldn’t complain...because they’d be correct.

Similarly, because that bloodline is pushing policies that are impacting me halfway around the world, the demise of that bloodline very well makes it my business.

“It’s up to the British people no?”

We said “no” a while ago. In the meantime, we developed our own framework for tyranny, and it works just as “well” as the British framework.

I think it’s OK to oppose tyranny wherever it exists, but if the Brits won’t lift a finger to throw off this relic, they will have to live with that.

Arthur: I am your king!
Woman: Well I didn’t vote for you!
Arthur: You don’t vote for kings!
Woman: Well ‘ow’d you become king then?
(holy music up)
Arthur: The Lady of the Lake— her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite,
held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by
divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why
I am your king!
Man: (laughingly) Listen: Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords
is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power
derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some... farcical
aquatic ceremony!
Arthur: (yelling) BE QUIET!
Man: You can’t expect to wield supreme executive power just ‘cause some
watery tart threw a sword at you!!
Arthur: (coming forward and grabbing the man) Shut *UP*!
Man: I mean, if I went ‘round, saying I was an emperor, just because some
moistened bink had lobbed a scimitar at me, they’d put me away!

The queen made a grave mistake that is the undoing of this monarchy. She never should have allowed Charles to wed his mistress and keep titles. Even though it was after his estranged wife had passed, his affair with Camilla was an adulterous one which never ceased during his marriage. My word. Those two forged ahead with their affair during the engagement and after the wedding.

Charles being allowed to keep his titles, wed his mistress, and then SHE be given titles in full royal status and privilege means that of course Andrew and then Harry and his attention power hungry Obama connected wife will get all of their’s back as well.

The only two in that group that seem somewhat normal are William and his family.

That house is going to destroy the world, particularly starting with Liz's children.

Nonsense.
The British Royal family has been there for 37 generations and over a thousand years and ruled a lot of countries including America and Canada.
If they were going to “destroy the world “ they'd have done it long ago.

What form of government the Brits have is their business and not mine.

Correct.

But this bloodline has to go.

“Its not your business “ but you presume to tell them who to govern them?
On what planet is that?

Similarly, because that bloodline is pushing policies that are impacting me halfway around the world, the demise of that bloodline very well makes it my business.

No it doesn’t. You have ZERO rights in Britain outside human rights accorded to every human being.

Charles has been talking about shrinking the Royal Family for a LONG time. He can't cut at the edges and let Andrew back in.

My Canadian wife keeps up on this stuff. Her take was that the BIG mistake was not letting Charles marry Camilla BEFORE either of them were married. The understanding is that Camilla was unacceptable because she wasn't a virgin, and that it was the Queen Mother who felt strongly. NOW look what we've got with Harry!

his attention power hungry Obama connected wife

Mrs. Markle has burned a LOT of bridges with other, closer friends of Obama. She is becoming "persona non grata" with every institution outside of "People Magazine".

Good point. And as a newly-installed monarch, Charles will want to avoid unnecessary controversy and criticism for the royal family at the start of his reign. Andrew may get a better status for his daughters, but he will probably not get a restoration of his former status for himself.

The British monarchy as it exists now is not a tyranny. Far from it
And the Brits love the Queen. Much more than any politician.

Agreed. But I’m not so sure he ever intended to truly marry her. He definitely knew the rules for who would be considered and who wouldn’t be.
