Meh.. I think she’s VERY connected to the Obama’s. Actually, I think she was connected long before Harry. They’re marketing team and security team are Obama throwbacks and Rachel (that’s her real name) owns a business with Oprah.
I didn't say the British Royal Family (presumably the institution of the Monarchy). I very specifically said the House of Saxe-Coburg. I have no opinion on whether Britain should be a republic or a monarchy. But I do have an opinion on which family should rule if they area monarchy.
They took over the British monarchy in 1901 when the son of Victoria and Albert, Edward VI, was crowned (previously was the House of Hanover). Victoria's mother was a member of that house (Saxe-Coburg) and married her first cousin, Albert who was full blooded. To avoid offending British sensibilities during the Great War, they changed the designation to the House of Windsor. (FYI, prior to the Hanoverians, there were the Stuarts, the Tudors, and the Plantagenets).
I have no apologies at suggesting that the Windsors (Saxe-Coburgs) need to go.
As you say, I have no vote in Brittain, but I have all the say I want because of one of those troubling little God-given rights that you mentioned...freedom of speech.
And when I sit and have a beer with Brits, Aussies, Canadians, Germans, Belgians, Norwegians, Swedes...I also feel free to express my views as strongly as I do on FR. As they do. Speech is pretty cool. BTW, as an FYI, about 30-40% of the Brits I talk to are Republicans (that is, they want to dump the monarchy altogether in favor of a republic).
Well the Queen’s uncle Edward VIII married Wallis Simpson an American divorcee and gold digger.
And he was actually King. And he started “dating “ her when she was still married. Nothing new here.
Mrs. Markle, aka the Duchess of Succotash, is GBR’s 21st Century Wallis Simpson. Her mate, Sparkle Markle, aka the Prince of Dubious Parentage, will remain on the outs with the royal family unless & until he dumps the Haitian cane field worker who snagged him. That is not likely, given the ugly mood in which are the citizenry regarding the situation. Similar to Uncle Andrew, they’ll remain in relative obscurity, likely even after Charles plops down on the throne.

There are still some Plantagenets available if the Brits are tired of their German royalty.
Perhaps Charles will see the “value” of the Royal family once he ascends the throne.

You and I don't care because we are Constitutional Americans. But then why are there more-or-less constant interviews, articles, and documentaries with about "the Royals?" We don't see anywhere near that amount of coverage on any other royal family in Europe.
If Charles or Wills comes to visit America, guaranteed they will at least get a formal invite to the White House, if not a State Dinner. Would the same courtesy be afforded to Harald, Christina, Hans-Adam, Henri, Willem-Alexander, or Margrethe? I highly doubt it. Did you know who they were without looking it up?
And the House of Windsor still refuses to deal with its metastatic Epstein Problem...

charles did NOT continue his affair after he and Diana got married until their marriage was irretrievably on the rocks. Diana by the way, was a sicko in the head. She threw herself down the stairs when pregnant, was a delicate cutter (made little slices with a sharp blade on her arms (look up the medical info on this mental illness) had affairs of her own, and was basically mental unstable, had a lousy childhood, and Charles who was forced into marrying a “virgin” didn’t know all of this about Diana’s hidden bags of worms until after they were well into their marriage. Get your facts right before you blame the disintegration of that marriage all on Charles. Diana was basically a very manipulative woman who was sick in the head.
Have your crazy wife recant her Oprah interview, especially the part about us being racist and have her beg for forgiveness. After that, get back to me Harry.
