“I would have, prior to me learning you have Alzheimer’s.”

Which means you have no proof whatsoever, and just spew BS as a matter of routine.

“Zelensky was put in place by the US through “color revolutions” and a coup we pushed on a duly elected leader.”

You do know, I assume, that Zelensky wasn’t even elected until 2019? And that there were two Ukrainian presidents after Yanukovych? Oleksandr Turchynov (interim 2014), and Petro Poroshenko (2014 - 2019). The Orange Revolution lasted but two months (November, 2004 - January, 2005). That was the last “color revolution” in Ukraine, and 14 years before Zelensky was elected.

If you are going to make allegations and charges, at least get your facts and terms right, or come off as ignorant.

“In fact he seemed rather tough on NATO.”

Yeah, he wanted NATO members to pay what they had agreed to pay. Smart move on Trump’s part, and previous presidents should have done the same thing.

Trump was tough with NATO to strengthen it, and it worked, they increased spending by billions.

Trump brought back V Corps and moved it from Germany to Poland, Poland wanted to create a Fort Trump and is currently headed to more than double the recommended NATO spending.

I don’t remember Trump pushing for Ukraine to join NATO, do you? Alright then. He would’ve opposed it because nobody wants a war, right? Or do they?

My post was to correct you on Trump and NATO.

Trump was supplying weapons to Ukraine and strengthening our nuclear weapons, and advising Europe to dump Russia and build up their militaries.

Trump is sick of Putin’s constant nuke threats and wants to threaten Putin with our nuke subs if he doesn’t quit using the “N word”.

“Yes! That one!! Please do more, ok?”

And, away we go!

On this thread:

You claimed Zelensky is associated with various LGBTQ comments.

I said if you have exact quotes from him to support that, then show them.

You replied with a Russian sentence that translated out to “Zelensky loves children.”

Ergo, you presented that Russian comment that Zelensky loves children to support your claim that Zelesnky is associated with various LGTBQ comments. Thus, you are positing a connection between Zelensky’s alleged LGBTQ comments and his alleged love of children.

You are, in effect, calling Zelensky a pedophile.

I asked you to prove it.

So, prove it.

Here is the thread:

“See the various LGBTQ comments associated with Zelenskyy.”

By YOUR side! The key phrase being ASSOCIATED WITH. YOU guys regularly employ such comments. It’s as if you all have an unhealthy fascination with homosexuality.

If you have Zelensky’s exact quotes to support your claim, then trot them out.

This ground has been gone over a lot before but apparently it needs repeating. Again the purpose of NATO is to PREVENT wars using deterrence, all for one and one for all, in order to keep Russia at bay and address any other possible threat that may arise. In this case NATO knowingly provoked war. Here’s how they did it. It was very insidious. NATO dangled the prospect of Ukraine joining in a convincing enough manner(At least to Russia) but stopped short of granting membership. Why would they do that? Well, that way Russia would be highly motivated to attack BEFORE Ukraine became an official member and enjoyed the full protection of NATO. Now if they had granted full membership to Ukraine in an expedited fashion, Russia would likely not have attacked and faced the full wrath of NATO. Then they sent the so-called President of The United States out there to make some very inexplicable and down right contradictory statements that seemed to invite a Russian invasion and Russia took the bait. The war is not about the invasion of Ukraine per se. Ukraine is being destroyed. The war is about diminishing Russia, possibly destroying its government, deposing Putin. NATO wanted this war.

I posted to you to correct some errors you had about Trump and NATO, not to get into this nonsense that you are trying to change the subject to.

Like some types one sees on the internet, you ignored the corrections, didn’t even acknowledge them, and went off on some other topic.

I’m an American. You aren’t, and never forget it.

So what? Canada is an ally, part of NATO, whose troops have fought beside ours in multiple ways. Yet, you see to have absolutely no problem with Russians posting in these exact se threads. Just Canadians.

Why is that?

You are correcting something that you only imagined. Trump would’ve kept NATO in check and not allowed them to start this dangerous war. He was BOTH tough on them and strengthened it. Those two things can exist simultaneously. I am well aware of the fact that he strengthened NATO. Maybe you should try to clarify what someone is saying first before you climb up on your high horse and feel the need to “correct’ them. You are not correcting me. You and yours are marching us all to hell.

Soviet troops were stationed in Cuba for years as well.

If this had been the Russians objecting to the U.S. putting nuclear weapons in Ukraine, the. Sure, that's a legitimate plaint. But that's not what happened.

The NATO charter doesn’t even name or identify either Russia or the USSR. Just saying.

Ukraine first expressed interest in joining NATO in 2002. It applied for an MAP (Membership Action Plan) in 2008. All countries desirous of joining NATO must first apply for an MAP, and then NATO will establish a program that the applying country must fulfill. That MAP must be followed by the applicant and the plan must be satisfied before any further consideration can be given.

Even at that, there are certain conditions that will automatically derail consideration (such as being at war, unresolved border disputes, etc.). Then, the application must be accepted by ALL current NATO members; one dissent precludes membership.

Ukraine joining NATO is an excuse, as there was no realistic possibility it ever would have satisfied the MAP or received a unanimous vote of approval.
