My best friend who is in dermatology says it is unreal the amount of people using this for weight loss. All for vanity reasons.

Meghan Markle looks like she has been taking it. She was photographed wearing a coat in hot weather. Some people commented it can make you feel cold...but she was probably just merching items for pay.

Like some...and unlike others...I've been on it for months to control diabetes. I've had no problems with it and it's controlling my A1c nicely.Thankfully my insurance plan covers it with only a small co-pay because it's damn expensive. The “sticker price” for a 1 month supply is about $1,000.

I suspect Gayle King is on something like this. Typically your face looks drawn out, she is losing some weight and looks drawn out. She’ll eventually resemble her friend Oprah who William F. Buckley referred to as that women who alternated being heavy and not so heavy.

that’s okay if they use it “all for vanity” reasons.
why would that bother you?

No info in the article on dosage except for ‘daily injections’ I use Ozempic but it’s 1mg per week. ..as is the norm. If this woman was taking it daily, I’m not surprised she had issus.

I know of no way to lose weight safely other than counting calories.

I went from 202-178 in 2 months on the Mediterranean diet. The Jesus diet. I wouldn’t call it a diet. Rid yourself of sugar, processed foods, beef, pork.

I’m on Ozempic. I’m type 2, apparently I lost the generic lottery. I lost 20 pounds when I first started and gained 10 of it back when I got used to it. I don’t know how it could make you suicidal.

The first 2 weeks on this it had a weird component that I could see might mess with some peoplle. I think I seen that it was on the “suicide list” of medications that may increase it. Mine was short lived kinda like a terminal frustrated unsettled feeling. Ozempic is NOT side effect free!

3 months in and I’m much better now!

I was prescribed Ozempic for weight-loss in addition to it’s purported value as an agent against colitis.

It gave me pancreatitis.

Just drop the carbs. Weight sheds, blood sugar goes inser control, med needs deminish, its amazing. I took off 20 lbs in July doing exactly that. I ate well consisting of meat, veg and fruit. During the heatwave fruit was a must. Insulin needs reduced to 20 units per day compared to my usuall 100 units a day.

From time to time I ate some pancakes for breakfast, but they weren’t boxed or frozen, and I eliminated sugar from the batter.

And yes, I do have to get my head into the right space, no it’s not always easy but the results are worth the trouble.
