What are the new EU fingerprint check rules for UK travellers from 6 October 2024?
The standard ^ | 19th December 2023 | Seren Morris

The EU will begin taking British travellers’ fingerprints and scanning their faces from next autumn, as reported by the i and the Times.

The new Entry/Exit Scheme (EES) could reportedly come into force on October 6, 2024 after several delays. It was initially due to begin in 2022, then in 2023.

Non-EU (including British) travellers heading to the EU will have their fingerprints checked and their faces scanned the first time they enter the zone. It will apply to all EU countries except Cyprus and Ireland. Norway, Iceland, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, which are in the Schengen area but are not EU states, will also participate.

EES will register the person’s name, type of travel document, biometric data and the date and place of entry and exit.

The data will be erased three years after it is collected for data protection reasons.

The EU said the new system will help save time: “The EES replaces passport stamping and automates border control procedures, making travelling to European countries using the EES more efficient for the traveller.”

Etias, which is modelled on the US Esta scheme, means non-EU travellers will have to fill in a form and pay €7 (£6) before entering Europe’s passport-free zone.

Punishing them for not choosing to be a conquered nation of the EU.

No...it applies to all guests of the EU who aren’t residents of the EU.

Britain has pissed them off by not being a subservient province. I’m not going to believe that the EU isn’t seeking small ways to punish Britain where they can.

No. This eases entrance.

That’s what they say, but it would take faith in fascism to believe them.

I can think of a thousand ways that the EU could make this a very unpleasant experience to travel into Europe. In this case...they get a stupid fingerprint and image (same that anyone who wants the visa to live long-term in France/Germany).

If I were the EU and really wanted to demonstrate to the UK guy my power....I’d charge some sixty Pound yearly fee for entry cost.

(Note: I’m not pro-EU, but I live under the umbrella and understand how they function.)

How so? How is this faster than stamping a passport?

Maybe...maybe not. It applies to all non-EU citizens, not just Brits. But OTOH you'd think they might have special rules for Brits given their proximity to mainland Europe and other factors. The US and Canada have agreements making it easier for their citizens to travel from one to the other so it's not unprecedented.

So it could be punishment...to a degree.

Doesn’t the US require a photo and fingerprints to enter? Well at least legally - if you jump the fence anything goes.

I’m going to say that it’s punishment by the process. Britain wanted to be a separate nation, so by golly, it will be treated as a separate nation and all t’s will be crossed and i’s dotted to ensure that it would be treated as a different nation.

The EU is getting ready for war. The EU is descending into an area of “conflict”.

The invasion by the Muslim and Asian population into Europe and it’s current conflict with Russia is going to accelerate an insurgency among the invaders. Europe will do what Europe always has done and will do.... it will “go European” on those it sees as “different”.

The elites, communists and intellectuals will attempt to “keep power” but once the economic and political destruction of the individual European countries starts, men will rise and blood will be shed.

The first thing to do in an insurgency is to declare war/declare an “enemy”. No freedom of speech or disagreement. You are either for (enter name of country) or you are a traitor or “enemy of the state”. Then you have to have the identity of every person in your area of insurgency in order to verify their loyalty. The others will have to be isolated, detained or killed as enemies until the “insurgency” is done.

Orrrrr... everyone is going to be identified in order to completely control the populace with social credit scores and every single European person will be in a prison controlled by the state and the corporations. They are a preview of what they are doing to our country and we will be in a Panopticon.

Here's the real lie from the article: The data will be erased three years after it is collected for data protection reasons.

Imagine having the gall to put that in print.

[What are the new EU fingerprint check rules for UK travelers from 6 October 2024?]

I do not understand how people (not you) cannot see that the Mark of the Beast is on the horizon - not tomorrow, mind you, but in this Digital World, with Digital Currency being expanded, with Digital Passports for COVID-19(84) touted a couple of years ago, it's just a matter of time.

They know that lies work very well on the general population.

The data will never disappear from various government databases. It likely will, however, be updated with more recent photos, addresses, cell phone numbers, etc.

Some may consider it my loss but I will not submit to being finger printed or biometric scanned for a passport of my own nation when illegals are being allowed to flood across the border daily in infantry division sized lots.
