For those who are still skeptical of Mike Johnson, we’ll have to wait and see. But it’s worth pointing out that he crossed a Rubicon of sorts when openly stated that Biden is too unfit to serve as President. How many RINOs are willing to say that publicly, even to this day?
The problem I have with a border control concession is that the DEMs and the RINOs can always renege on it.
Choose to be blind to the realities, if you wish. I predicted much 20 years ago and took crap for it. In reality, it has become much worse than I could have ever imagined.
Johnson needs to sponsor a bill, and get it passed, that is only about border security. The Senate bill is a massive amnesty program (that will give the Dems a permanent lock on power starting 5 years after it passes), disguised as border security, and obviously gives nearly $100 billion to foreign countries that we simply don’t have. If we had a clean border security bill, and he presented it to the Senate, it would be hard for people to vote against it. Even if they do, they will be on record as having done so. Either that, or if Schoemer kills that BILL before it even reaches the floor of the Senate, then he is on record as opposing border security.
Evidently, a large part of the GOP is in it too.

I don’t think we have to worry about that. The rats and MSM have circled the wagons. They have a puppet with the power of the Presidency. They do not want to give that up.
And proves to all US allies that America was nonce great, but now deserts friends and allies alike over a policy that cannot be changed until Biden leaves office.

Then either Johnson should prominently mention it as the bill that was passed by Republicans, or pass a new one, and make some news headlines about it. The whole idea is to put pressure on the Senate Democrats to either pass a sensible bill, or go on record as opposing the same.

The Democrats somehow seem determined to keep Joe. That’s fantastic. It’s a bad idea for Republicans to try and change their minds.
