Twenty-three Democrat run states and the District of Columbia, the home of our nation’s capital, filed amicus briefs in support of government censorship and banning of free speech in the United States.
These 23 states and the District of Columbia filed amicus briefs in support of the Biden administration in the SCOTUS case is Murthy, et al v. Missouri, et al, 23-411 (Missouri v. Biden) case.
The states essentially argue that they have an interest in collaborating with tech companies to “encourage” the public to behave themselves and “discourage” the public from believing alleged “disinformation” or engaging in online predatory behavior. The clear message is that they believe that the government has the right to shut down and censor speech.
The list of un-American states that support government censorship include:
New York Colorado Arizona California Connecticut Vermont, Washington, Washington, D.C. Wisconsin New Jersey New Mexico, Oregon Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada
HOWEVER, a number of courageous states filed an Amicus Curiae brief in SUPPORT of Gateway Pundit and the Free Speech Respondents. These (16) heroic states include:

Question: Are the Biden government and his handmaidens in the media the broker of what is disinformation? That’s what I understood when I was run off Facebook in 2020. That’s what I understood when Google wouldn’t allow the confirmation through to me so I could register on Truth Social and several other platforms.
We cannot allow the fascists to win. If they do then Congress needs to pass a law which undoes the court ruling.

All of the 23 states have in common is the fact that they have Democrat Governors. So, the red states need to send in a brief opposing Biden’s fight against government censorship & for freedom of speech, as our Constitution says are inalienable rights provided by our creator.
The District of Columbia? I saw where they were 36th on the list of the world’s 50 most dangerous cities, based on murder rates. Why should they lecture anyone about any issue?
It’s a fundamental must, if we are going to have a Republic, that we have Freedom of Speech. It was SO important, it was the first Amendment in the Bill of Rights. The other Amendments, appear to have been ordered for importance to allow the People to remain in power, and Justice to prevail.
These States, that no longer want Free Speech...or in this case Truth..to be delivered to the people no longer operate with the same beliefs as the Constitution. They want Constitutional protections, when it serves a political purpose, but would deprive everyone of those Protections seen as fundamental for a Republic. Ergo, those States no longer believe in the Constitution and favor another type of Government, one in which Government and Big Tech walk hand in hand trampling the rights of the people.
They have another name for the type of Government that the states that have favored eliminating free speech, and even more accurate speech so that Government and Big Tech can control.
