Bergoglio Vatican celebrates Protestant Revolt with a stamp

This is just revolting. They do not even pretend it is not a true celebration of Luther, as the reproduction of the hagiographic
image of Luther and Melanchton makes clear.

This is the same hierarchy that expels its precious few young people from Brussels Cathedral for praying the Holy Rosary in front of a Lutheran pastor -- the beads are probably a "microagression" that "offends" heretics.

***
What truly happened on October 31, 1517?

On All Hallows' Eve, a perverted monk in Upper Saxony, possessed by the prince of darkness, divided Christendom forever, and deprived billions of souls of Sacramental life.

Splits in the Church go back to the 300-400’s with the Coptic Church breaking away.

True; but why do you support such splits, as you do Luther's split?

Not supporting, just pointing out to history.

“But who am I to judge?”

Exactly. You’re in no position to judge, from the “Catholic perspective”, which was my point.

You don't seem to renouncing his revolt, either.

“No. Heretics cannot validly “correct” faithful Catholics.”

Faithful Catholics wouldn’t be indulging in their own judgement over the judgement of the church authorities, now would they?

Sure they would if those church authorities were heretics. That's why they they're "faithful Catholics".

Sadden that it happened, but it is all history.

I am much more concerned about what had happened in NYC today.

We are dealing bigger fish and you worry about 500 years ago.

The Francis celebrated the 500 yr old revolt today with a Vatican stamp. I haven't heard a statement from him about the NYC tragedy today.

Have you?

Yet, Bergolio took the time to issue a Vatican stamp about that event today.

He is not only not worried about it, he's celebrating it.

Do you think he’ll blame it on Islamic terrorism, especially when eyewitnesses are reporting the attacker was yelling, “Allah Akbar”?

They were in the bosom of Abraham. When Jesus died he went to the place of death to preach the gospel and take the souls of the worthy to heaven. Before Christs death the full price of sin had not been paid as all the sacrifices and ceremonies were only a temporary solution.

If Francis spoke ex cathedra that Luther was not a heretic and was correct would you change your mind?

Francis will never speak ex cathedra. So it’s a moot point.

They were in the bosom of Abraham.

And in whose bosom did Abraham reside in?
