"Easter and the holidays that are related to it are moveable feasts which do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars which follow only the cycle of the sun; rather, its date is determined on a lunisolar calendar similar to the Hebrew calendar. The First Council of Nicaea (325) established two rules, independence of the Jewish calendar and worldwide uniformity, which were the only rules for Easter explicitly laid down by the council. No details for the computation were specified; these were worked out in practice, a process that took centuries and generated a number of controversies. It has come to be the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March,[11] but calculations vary."
First, the author is being a bit deceptive -
"Easter and the holidays that are related to it are moveable feasts which do not fall on a fixed date in the Gregorian or Julian calendars which follow only the cycle of the sun"
He/she then goes on to say, at the bottom of the paragraph above, the following -
" It has come to be the first Sunday after the ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or soonest after 21 March,[11] but calculations vary."
Okay, so it's still directly tied to 21 March, the spring equinox! This is the time of the Ishtar/Inanna pagan celebrations.
And this -
"The First Council of Nicaea [In the year 325] established two rules, independence of the Jewish calendar and worldwide uniformity, which were the only rules for Easter explicitly laid down by the council. No details for the computation were specified; these were worked"
Therefore, the Jewish Hebrew calendar is the Almighty's calendar (read the Word), and the Council of Nicaea established a man-made calendar in the year 325.
Btw, which calendar do you suppose will be used after the second coming?
Remember Daniel 7 -
"The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings. He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time."
Yeshua made a number of special arrangements for those who believe in him. One arrangement, of many, was the grafting in of His followers to the Hebrew root, who all follow the Almighty's calendar!
IMO, what you believe is one's own business (IIRC, Paul talks about this), and I don't feel it's a big deal which day one observes, provided you don't know any better. For surly we've inherited lies...

It will be new to many.
" And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. "
This Revelation prophecy concerns the times after the 1,000 year reign of Yeshua.
The writings of Paul sometimes seem contradictory. They are complex and not as simple to understand as they first appear. One of the problems is that we don't often take into consideration who he is writing/talking to. We assume he is speaking to us as well. So, context is paramount to understanding Paul.
When I have problems understanding one of Paul's writings, I try to reconcile the words with the Words of the Almighty and Yeshua. If I can't, I go with the words of the latter.
An example: What does "for ever" mean? For one, it depends upon who actually said it. Second, could heaven and earth passing away end "for ever"? Or, does "for ever" carry over into the new heaven and earth?
Lot's of complex questions and no definitive answers. At least not yet - though we are promised more will be revealed at the Second Coming.

As he never claimed to be a Prophet. He discussed Biblical metaphors in arrears. Seek the face of YHvH in His WORD ! Odd; that you would call him a False Prophet.

Thus identifying the integrity of the WORD !
None of it made sense. Sort of N.A.R. claptrap.
Remember, Jesus warns us strongly against deception in the Church in these last days... false prophets are synonymous with false teachers... or those who preach out of the sin of Simony...

Yes, and if we cannot discern false teaching or false prophecy now, we will not be able to discern the False Prophet or counterfeit teachings of his Anti Christ.

Prophesy to the Greek is prediction. Prophesy to the Hebrew mind is pattern or metaphor. Perhaps this thought:

Mildly interesting I suppose but Ill go with what has been historically believed by Christians throughout centuries; dont see a reason to change. Its not like there are any dates in the Bible. So history is all we can go by.
And we can see historically that the Annunciation (to Mary) was celebrated on March 25, exactly 9 months before December 25, for hundreds of years really the earliest observance in the second or third centuries.
Christmas, as an observed holiday in the Church didnt come until later actually, probably the 3rd or 4th centuries (IIRC) but it was paradoxically determined and set based (at least partially) on the tradition of celebrating the Annunciation on March 25. And of course also to supplant and therefore suppress the pagan celebrations for the winter solstice at the time.
So, we have Christians celebrating His birth on December 25 for nearly 2,000 years and one of the main reasons because of the very early, ancient tradition celebrating the Annunciation to Mary on March 25. So we have that, or we have speculations and calculations from some guy (or guys) in modern times, who never knew people from ancient times personally (like the ancient people from the 2nd, 3rd century *did*), who say otherwise.
Yeah Im gonna go with a tradition that can trace its roots back to the first believers. Or at least the students of the first believers.
Instead of some modern group with no real connection to the historical past.
Besides, its not in the Bible so it doesnt really count right?
