Three years ago today, 49 men headed to a thriving gay nightclub in Orlando, unaware it was the last thing they would ever do.
The next morning, our nation would be united in grief and horror at the 49 lives that would be taken that night in a carefully calculated plot by a follower of a demonic religion.
That shooter, who carried out what at the time was the worst shooting in US history, thought that the death and carnage he created would bring glory to his false god.
What he never counted on was the way God would work in the lives of two men and turn a horrific tragedy into an incredibly powerful testimony of His grace and mercy.
Even in the darkest hour, God is always working.
Today, two of the men who made it out alive from the Pulse shooting are more than just survivors–they are saved. Covered in the blood of Jesus Christ, they live today to share the incredible power of His Word and His sacrifice, and they’ve dedicated their lives to spreading this Good News to anyone and everyone they can.

Look up the case of a young lady named Sol Pais. Someone so obsessed with the Columbine story she traveled to that state with guns, wanting to recreate the scene during this April, the 20th anniversary of the murders. The whole city was on lock down for several days, until it was discovered that Sol had shot herself dead with one of her guns.
Or maybe it won’t matter. Maybe you still think this plan to protect the school campus from future events like Sol Pais is a non-concern, something that only weak people and snowflakes would be concerned with.
Sadly,a lot of those fathers are gone.

Good for him. If he hadn’t been there he wouldn’t have been shot. But I guess the good thing is he’s trying to mend his ways.
Unlike in Florida, where the Parkland school building where the massacre of 17 students occurred will be demolished, the consolidated school in Bath, Michigan, where 44 students were killed in a 1927 bombing. was repaired, and the kids went back to classes there. The wimpification of America rolls on.
Even the news coverage of the 1927 bombing was truncated by Charles Lindbergh’s trans-Atlantic solo flight a few days later. Yes, there were news cycles before the internet.
