This sounds like something one would order if everything was hunky-dorey.
Maybe if they preached Catholicism instead of “climate change” ...

Where’d that at least $1.4 bil go...?
...and pederasty.
The Pope has been playing the ponies?
Its always about the money.
Always.

Keep in mind that Deutsch Bank had to pay 150 million dollar fine for working with Epstein and Maxwell on wire transfers for pedos. The pucker factor for the Pope is probably pretty high right now.
A leftist and his money are soon parted.
Gee. too bad the Roman Church doesnt have any assets or anything
Michael Corleone, pick up the red courtesy phone, please.
The Vatican ( that is Vatican City and its swollen staff, many offices, etc.) made most of its money from the Vatican Museums and tourism...which are gone or seriously reduced now.
Tourism was already declining because nobody wanted to go to see Bergoglio, but the closure and the reductions to the museums have really killed it.
And donations to local churches, which had to give a certain percent to Rome, have plunged, partly because they were already dropping under Bergoglio, and partially because people were abandoned by the Church during this horrible shutdown. Frankly, people now have better uses for their money than to give it to some organization that did nothing to preserve things such as the sacraments or the community from the states shut down orders.
So at the Vatican, theyre trying to get all their cash back in so they can still keep the lights on.

What did socialists use before candles?
Lightbulbs
Yeah. Hope Bergoglio enjoys the romantic lighting,
“Frankly, people now have better uses for their money”
Such as holding on to it in case they need it to buy food, pay the mortgage, fix the car, etc. when they lose their job ?
I think my parish is doing fairly well financially—of course we are probably an outlier.
We’re allowed to operate at 30% capacity, and there is a need for overflow seating at some, if not most, weekday Masses, as well as most of the Sunday Masses—and and that is with an extra Sunday Mass added.
The altar rail is carefully sprayed down between Masses.
Corleone, indeed. I was just thinking of the phrase “Going to the mattresses” for this.
The Vatican literally SAVED Western Society in the past. Now they’re leading the charge to destroy.
They can rot in hell.
I’m no fan of the Red Pope but in fairness, this at least is something I don’t think can be fairly laid on him. If there is a church anywhere from the village street corner all the way up to national organization, that is not experiencing some kind of financial challenges right now, I’d like to know who they are and how they are managing it.
