Go Try This, Go Ahead - I Dare You! If you have a Death Wish!

Enter Mexico illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense.

Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care for you and your entire family.

Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.

Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc. Procreate abundantly.

Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with,"It is a cultural United States thing. You would not understand, pal."

Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop, or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.

Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise.

Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.

Demand a local Mexican driver license. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Mexico.

Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its officers.

Good luck! You'll be demanding for the rest of time or soon dead. Because it will never happen.

It will not happen in Mexico or any other country in the world... Except right here. Land of the naive.

God Bless America--She needs it.

dirtboy, you've spoken of what I feel is the worst situation with this illegal immigration problem, Americans of Mexican/latino descent. I fear they will suffer the backlash, I have friends in that group who fear it. Yes, we've let it go on too long, but when it has been discussed before, the discussion was successfully stiffled. There are groups of Americans of Hispanic origins who are speaking out against illegal immigration. I pray for them, they are our countrymen. Some have said to me, if a person does not or will not speak English, they are not Americans, what do you think? Many of our fellow Americans of Hispanic orgins speak "broken" English, and I consider it beautiful. Hold your darling wife and let her know that anyone in my midst and mindset loves her too.

I don't think that Hagel will be our "choice".
Look at the past presidential elections; It's always been someone who was a Governor who won. The Republican Party knows that.

Time and again, it's been proven that governors win Presidential elections; Senators lose.

If the Dems want to pick the Hildabeast as their choice, they will guarentee themselves another loss.

As another FReeper pointed out; Hagel is more of a windsock then he is a compass.

"My wife shops at Home Depot. She is a native-born citizen of Hispanic ancestry. Is she a potential illegal?"

Stop the whinning! Just look and see all the migrants standing around looking for work.

When I was a child, my mother had to show my birth certificate to the school to get me enrolled. Why, because schools were supported by property taxes. If you wanted a library card, you needed to show ID. If you wanted a Bank Account, you needed to show ID.

Get the idea!

Does your posting of this article indicate that you support the Daschle-Hagel Immigration Reform Bill?

She speaks unaccented English. And she thinks we're nuts for allowing so many illegals here.

Stop the whinning!

I'm not whining. I'm putting forth scenarios. Trust me, I think we need to crack down on illegal immigration and the hiring of illegals, and I'm opposed to most of what I've seen of Bush's plan. But we need to make sure we are not creating cures that create some other serious problems.

Just look and see all the migrants standing around looking for work.

A lot of them have fake state IDs. If we aren't careful, our demands will lay the groundwork for National ID cards.

Thanks for the ping.

I find it interesting that people are starting to realize there is a problem here. What saddens me, is that too many of them seem inclined to sweep the problem under the carpet, and pretend it's all fixed.

Here Hagel makes it plain that in the end, his solution is no different that Bush's solution. Legalize what the illegal alien is doing, and viola, the universe is perfect aligned again. No, it won't be.

Ending the incentives that beckon illegal immigrants to our shores, will end the endless stream of them headed our way. Those here would also leave since a viable living would no longer be available to them.

Conjured up portrayals of bulging boxcars, door to door searches and the like are shameless ploys of the uninformed.

The illegal alien has been trucked, bused and flown back to their nation of origin for over half a century. This was done in a humane and orderly manor. People who are here without having gone through the normal channels to do so, need to be repatriated to their nation of origin.

It's no more inhumane to return illegal aliens to their nation of origin than it is to punish people who break our other laws. Commit an illegal act, and you will be punished accordingly. The illegal alien is no different in that regard.

Those who profit from the illegal alien subculture, will continue to advocate for criminality. Those who do are no different than those who advocate for other criminals to get away with the laws they break.

There will always be some among us, who like toying with the netherworld of anarchy. They will be recognized for what they are.

I am ashamed to say that this idiot is my US Senator. I as GOP are more proud of Sen Nelson (A DEM) that I am of this moron.

As a fellow Nebraskan, I echo your sentiments 100%. You're right--Hagel isn't fooling anyone in his so-called "home state." Those of us who have followed his Senate career closely realize his attitude towards illegal immigration is so lax, he'd turn Kansas into a border state if he had his way.

I, for one, won't vote for him when he runs for reelection to his Senate seat, let alone for President.

From post #1

I haven't seen his proposal for immigration from last year, it will be interesting to look up.

They're going to have to pay a $1,000 fine. Will somebody vouch for them? Are they working now? This is not amnesty.

I thought $1500 made it "not amnesty". What is the dollar penalty when we can call it amnesty? $999.95?

Can we put a price on our sovereignty? On the security and integrity of our borders? On cultural unity? These things are priceless. They are pearls thrown before the swine of our leaders.

I'm surprised Tancredo and Glenn Spencer don't have ulcers. They have bene hitting their heads against brick walls
trying to get people to wake up on illegal immigration problems. I don't even know who Hagel is.

It just stuns me that our first step after 9-1-1 wasn't sealing our borders and going after illegal immigrants. It's mind-boggling.

Thanks for the Ping.

"Can we put a price on our sovereignty?"

Evidently, many can. We've established what they are, it's just a matter of haggling their "price' .

It seems obvious to me that the parasites and predators in the swamp are playing games with the people. You mention how they want to take away our God given rights for fedgov.org rights. Funny how lately the dems are making more of a fuss about "the rights of the people" then the Reps who usually guard the Constitution.

Anyway what I have noticed lately is that the dems get stuff passed and support things that a Rep would never get through. The dems would come unglued if the Rep tried to past this stuff. And visa versa. The people here at FR would be up in arms fighting any Dem who tried some of this stuff. I am sure it has always worked this way but it seems more obvious lately.

A thousand $ fine. Ha! Should charge 10K+ if we're going to decriminalize illegal aliens. Half can be put back into the SS fund and the other half can be used to deport everyone else.
