On this rape accusation stuff, there should be a litmus test...the rape must have been filed with the police, there must be a police report and the legal result must be presented. ANYTHING ELSE is heresay and should not be allowed into any confirmation process.
In most places, there is no statute of limitations on rape. And if there is and the time is exceeded, then the allegation is automatic libel.
Those that say, the woman was too frightened, Yada, yada...well if she is brave enough to make an allegation that hits the news media, then she should be brave enough to file a complaint into the system FIRST.
RAPE SURVIVORS NEED TO BE FIRST CREDIBLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PROSECUTE A RAPIST AND LEGALLY ACCOUNTABLE IF THEY LIE MAKING THE OFFICIAL COMPLAINT.

How old is he? 51? So theoretically he could be in the SCOTUS for the next 40 years? Heh heh heh, almost half a century

Yes, Kavanaugh is likely to be more "conservative" (i.e., constitutionalist/originalist) than his predecessor, Justice Kennedy was. But the real change will occur when Ginsburg and Breyer leave the Court.

If there is a blowout in the elections where we pick up several senate seats I think Clarence Thomas should resign and a younger Clarence Thomas appointed. He’s 68-69. Better a year too early than a year too late. Think Miguel Estrada or an Asian female.

I don’t think Kavanaugh was any sort of movement conservative but after what the left has done to him, he may be one now.

Stand by for chaos in the Senate gallery when the public is allowed in to watch the vote. They’re supposed to be quiet and respectful. That behavior stopped some time ago as Dems slipped ober the edge into the fetid abyss.. Hope the Capitol Police have lots of handcuffs.

“A Kavanaugh confirmation would likely pave way for a more conservative Supreme Court”
Think about that statement and then determine what the American education system is purposely putting out. Finding a conservative barrister in that production line would be like finding a lost ring at a beach. It’s possible. But don’t hold your breath.

This is only the beginning. Very likely, the next justice to leave the Supreme Court will likely be 85 year old Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and G*d help us all when that happens. This ugliness of recent weeks will be nothing compared to the replacement of Ginsberg.

It took FDR several years and three terms to pack the Supreme Court.
Trump is managing to do it in very short order.

A woman replacement would shut up the banshees, though.
I HATE that we have to think that way but the Dems are the ones that want identity politics,
