I agree about the draft dodgers like Clinton, but you seem to be casting aspersions on guys who took deferments they were eligible for. I don’t blame Trump and Biden. My Dad took the deferment for married with children in WWII. He got drafted after he got divorced and he reported for duty so maybe you shouldn’t be so quick to disparage people.
Contrary to legend, it was very easy to get a deferment. The truth is the military didn’t have enough billets for the cohorts that became eligible in the mid ‘60s when the boomers came along.
