  • [CNN] Tonight's Republican debate in Iowa will only include Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis. Here's what to know.

Are you in the sixth grade too with your lame DeSanctimonius BS. What would you think if other conservatives called Trump Orangeman Bad. Trump lies about how he saved Ron in his election due to his endorsement. We didn’t hear anything about his Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona endorsements that went in the toilet, effectively allowing the commies to retain control of the Senate. DeSantis has character. Trump doesn’t.

Yes DeSantis clearly won against the worn out DeSantis Lies.com. Even though it was on CNN, most questions/follow-ups seemed reasonable except Crapper’s comment that scientist say floods are causing climate change. DeSantis was polished, professional, and well prepared and wasn’t daunted by the Haley desperation cheap shots. He is the best candidate the GOP can put forward.
Watched a couple of droplets of Trump on Fox and he was in his sixth grade name-calling BS, wishy washy on several issues and otherwise BORING. I supported him in 16 and will support him in 24 if he is the nominee. But his probable convictions and presstitute calumny will cause his defeat and the end of the USA. If he weren’t being persecuted by the extreme left-wing, he would have a more difficult time winning the nomination. Expect daily MAGAs killing democracy. In actuality DeSantis is far more conservative than Trump! I challenge any Trump fan boy on here to show how/where Trump is more conservative than Ron. Any GOPer that might win will result in riots, lawsuits at Dem judges unless a prez uses the power of government to stop it. Heaven help the USA.

Kudos for your posts. Trump’s and fanboys junior high attacks on Desantis are phony and delusional. All conservatives agree Trump is being crookedly persecuted, but if the GOP wants to win the next election, emotional support for Trump is not gonna cut it. Desantis conservative bona-fides are superior to those of Trump in spite of balderdash floated by some on here. Trump’s negatives among much of the electorate plus the distractions of all the legal mumbo jumbo will truncate any positive conservative messaging in support of the American public. He will spend his time lambassting the crooks. Again, emotions are NOT going to win the election in 2024. The hatred towards Desantis on here is detestible.

I seem to recall that Trump started the backstabbing of DeSantis once he started to get scared of him. Trump lackeys on here calling DeSantis Bud Lite, swamp lover and other lying BS are FOS and they know it. It’s about a year away from the primaries bucko, so don’t get your jollies too quick. Nobody seems to attack his policies, just personality attacks. While almost all agree the DOJ/FBI regime assault on Trump are crooked, insidious, and a thousand other adjectives. the prize is in November 2024. The Dimcraps are likely to win if Big Mouth Donnie is the GOP guy. Stop behaving like the Dims do when they attack anybody who is not a leftist, like you do when any conservative supports Ron not Don.

I read Gateway every day and you are right. They are to Trump what CNN is to Dems. Desantis’s accomplishments are here and now + honesty, integrity, et al. Trump’s appointments were unmitigated disasters. Now he is spending time trashing the GOP best opportunity instead of Biden. His current polls are directly due to the left’s witch hunt against him. He is old news with same old same old. If the GOP wants to win in 2024 it must not follow this Pied Piper over the cliff. I supported him in ‘16 & ‘20 and will again IF he is the nominee, but face it, he will not win. His baggage is insurmountable.

Maskless Lives Matter. Looks like police brutality to me. She should have worn a “Press” label on her shirt. Did the cop really have to take her to the ground. If she were a black senior this would be all over ABCNNBCBS fake news sites.

A journalist with any cajones (ok, forget I said that because there are none, they are all DNC hacks) would ask Nancy if she also prays for aborted babies. She could also be asked who her dentist is. Then she should be asked since she didn’t like Rush getting his medal if it was ok for d!chead DeNiro to get his from the Kenyan. Also weather her family should be investigated for their criminal dealings. OK I could go on and on.

I’m really discouraged by the constant Hannity ticktock, forthcoming IG report, Trump dumping the FISA warrant stuff, and all the other (what appears to be) BS that makes us MAGA partisans think that soon the piper will be paid and all the Dem crooks will be held to task, eg, Comey, Brennan, Gonnorhea (uh I mean the Claps), Yates, Struckout, Page 1, Hildabeast, and all the other Obama cronies.

I’m also discouraged by the candyass GOP reps in Congress who are sitting on their hands while the constant barrage against Trump goes on day after day. The best defense is a good offense and it appears the offense is entirely on the injured reserve list. The only agression against the left-wing commies is from Trumps tweets. Although it is too frequent and too many, he has to do that because the cowards in the GOP won’t. The dims must be called out by multiple people frequently and aggressively.

It’s belly up to the bar time. If you don’t, then the bartender is going to cut you off and you won’t even have a seat at the bar.

Unfortunately, this article and other similar ones delude us into thinking positivity is just around the corner. It ain’t.

Ok Jack, the name was changed to protect the innocent. Try organizing your thoughts into one post.

Yes I was the one who said wetback and did not imply otherwise. Reset your inference detector. Yes, most large city governments are run by leftists. My comments specifically referred to state elected officials. Even Badge 714 should be able to discern the difference. There are pockets of leftists everywhere but in Texas state government, guess “Who’s the boss?”

‘Your mostly decent post” warmed my heart ;-). You did ask folks to note which state they were posting from if they were critical of CA “government”. You did take a subtle pot shot at TX. As for what brought on the attack against CA, I could cite numerous actions by the state that are against nearly everything conservatives stand for but there is no room to do that here but Brown, Feinstein, Becerra, Harris, Berkeley would be good starting points. Your original post did not clearly differentiate between defending CA in general and its govt.

I was in Fresno in 2000 at the rally with Jim supporting Bush against the hanging chad BS. The state govt was f/u then but just worse now. I had the chance to return home then and did. I do sympathize with those of you that are not able to move out or to change your government. But, to be sure, the rest of us have every right to condemn them.

Dear Jack Webb aka Badge 714 - What does a hospital delivering wetback babies have to do with conservative state officials who cannot interfere because of lefty judge rulings and fed violations of the 10th Amendment?

I think I said I feel sorry for the stark minority of CA conservatives so the criticism was not directed at ALL Californians, just the govt and the dumb asses that put them in office. So you many not have hurt feelings, but you sure are highly defensive. Go ahead an pop off about our great state with 100% conservatives in state offices, among the most favorable 2nd amendment rights in the country. We’ll put Texas up against LGBTQ, wetback loving, baby killing CA any day of the week. CA - homeless capital, needles and feces lining streets, district judges that think they are kings, etc. etc. etc. Will be glad to add more if you like.

Texan here for those who are focused on the residence of posters. I lived in CA for five years (job related). The state had a great number of places to visit. Once the job crashed and burned, I was delighted to return to TX. Those of us attacking CA are saying that the state is overrun with renegade leftists from the statehouse to judges. The majority of residents of the state are responsible for putting the leftist renegades in office. I feel sorry for those honest conservatives (including relatives) that have to live with a gulag government that violates first and second amendment rights. I would NEVER live there again and negative migration from CA is an indicator that a lot of current/former residents feel the same.

If you live there and have hurt feelings about the attacks on your state (government), then deal with it. Those who want to know the residence of poster may want to attack the residence of the poster rather than defend the arrogance of CA government. If so, go for it, Bucko.

The “open carry is an oddity” remark is in itself an oddity. If we change the law it should be for Constitutional carry. As a RTC holder, since open carry became legal, I have yet to see ONE non law enforcement person carry openly. The reason is probably because the vast majority of licensees believe their advantage is always carrying concealed, unless hunting, on your own property, etc.

If the left-wing zealots get in power and try to limit gun rights in the future, there will be a REAL revolution.

Second incident in a couple of months under highly suspicious circumstances. Both ships were in the South China Sea exerting freedom of navigation earlier. After the Fitzgerald, the vigilance level was bound to be increased dramatically. It just seems inexplicable that CIC, OOD, JOOD, and watch stations could not detect and prevent this.

To me this indicates one of three scenarios:
    1. Gross incompetence requiring heads to roll at the Admiral level.
2.Serious maintenance issues that were not properly addressed by the ship’s crew (see #1 above).
    3. A weapon from a foreign source rendering navigation equipment inoperable or ineffective.

If the answer is #3 worry for your country and expect the Navy to cover it up and find the ship’s command structure responsible. After reading similar “enemy” weapons stories in the Fitzgerald case, I thought it was just tin foil hat stuff. After this one, I’m not so sure.
