When Talisha McClain was diagnosed with breast cancer in March, the mother of three knew she was going to have to make some hard decisions. McClain says she wasn’t able to work during cancer treatments, eliminating the family’s income. “How am I even going to go to the store to buy basic things like dish soap, washing powder, toilet paper, food or clothes?” McClain told KJRH. “I had to move out of my home to a small apartment going from a three bedroom home because I couldn’t afford it.” At that point, 16-year-old Tyler McClain decided to take matters into...

The schizophrenia is palpable. We get rid of Obozo, send Shrillary to the showers - probably forever - thus ensuring she doesn't drive the country right off a cliff in fifth gear, and somehow, someone straps a 2x4 to Bitch McConjob long enough for him to use the nuclear option, derail ChuckU Schumer, get Judge Gorsuch confirmed to SCOTUS, and pave the way for Trump to carpet the country with conservative judges in every district and circuit, undoing Leftist destructive judicial activism for decades. Pretty good, right? Then Trump drops a few dozen old Tomahawks onto one of the vilest...

LYNNWOOD, Wash. – Michelle Obama’s national school lunch overhaul is getting a little ridiculous. The First Lady worked with federal bureaucrats to strictly limit what types of foods can be served in school cafeterias across the country in an effort to fight childhood obesity. The federal regulations on meat, vegetables, salt, and other aspects of the school lunch has been met with staunch indignation from students who have either trashed their mandatory fruit and vegetables or opted not to eat lunch at all. Now, the Edmonds School District in Washington state and others are cracking down on birthday cupcakes and...

11 year old Chloe Stirling got some great accolades from her local newspaper for the cupcake business she had started out of her parents' kitchen. Unfortunately the local health department took another view and shut her down. The sticking point was that not only did she lack the proper permits and licenses to run a food business, but according to local and state law she would have to either own her own bakery or have a kitchen separate from that of her parents to continue cooking cupcakes for money. Since this was clearly impossible, Stirling is no longer able to...

Middle-schooler Chloe Stirling of Troy, Ill., quickly learned a tough lesson about government regulation on small businesses after the story ran on Sunday. Madison County Health Department officials informed her family that the pastry party was over on Monday. “They called and said they were shutting us down,” said Chloe’s mother, Heather...

Thanks to ObamaCare, New Yorkers can now get health insurance with rainbow sprinkles. In yet another bungle for the botched government insurance rollout, the state Health Department has mistakenly listed numerous non-health-related business as enrollment sites — including a Brooklyn cupcake shop that has been besieged by callers. “I have nothing to do with this,” said Carmen Rodriguez owner of Brooklyn Cupcake in Williamsburg. “I run a very busy establishment, and I’m like, what is going on?” Because of the mistake, her bakery has gotten 150 calls from people seeking medical-insurance information. “There has to be somebody who can help...
