August 27, 2018 Dear Friends, Earlier today, on behalf of His Eminence, Cardinal Donald Wuerl, I shared the following letter and materials with priests of the Archdiocese of Washington. I thought you would find it helpful, and share the letter and materials below. Over the past two weeks, I have shared several communications with you regarding the Pennsylvania Grand Jury Report. As Cardinal Wuerl noted at yesterday’s Mass for Healing at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew, all must know the Church’s contrition and remorse for these grave sins. Survivors of this great betrayal by priests must know of the prayers...

Dear Priests, Deacons, Religious and all Holy Faithful of the Diocese of Tyler, A letter (see below) by Archbishop Vigano, former Nuncio to the United States, raises grave allegations and calls for the resignation of numerous high ranking prelates including Pope Francis. Let us be clear that they are still allegations but as your shepherd I find them to be credible. Using this standard the response must be a thorough investigation similar to those conducted any time allegations are deemed to be credible. I do not have the authority to launch such an investigation but I will lend my voice...

As the swirl of legal drama around Donald Trump grows, it will be increasingly difficult for Democrats to avoid direct questions about the "I word" - impeachment - even if the topic makes many on the left squirm with discomfort. On Tuesday Donald Trump's former personal lawyer stood in a New York courtroom and said then-candidate Trump directed him to commit campaign finance crimes. If Mr Cohen is to be believed - and his lawyer has produced an audio recording that appears to be at least partial corroboration - it draws the president closer to what is now-documented illegal activity....

Pastoral Letter from Bishop Olmsted and Bishop Nevares Regarding Recent Abuse Scandals August 17, 2018 Dear sisters and brothers in Christ, We write you this day to express our own deep level of sadness and anger about the recent revelations surrounding Archbishop Theodore McCarrick and the newly released Pennsylvania Grand Jury report. These shameful and evil actions have harmed many innocent people, especially the young; and they are utterly inexcusable. This has also caused great pain, confusion and dismay among us all — laity, religious and clergy — who remain committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are sorry...

Full Title: ANOTHER SCREW UP: New Mexico Police Entered Terror Compound On Their Own After Being Tired of FBI Stalling New Mexico police entered a dangerous Islamist terrorist camp in New Mexico this month after they grew tired of FBI stalling. The Clarion Project wrote an extensive report on the New Mexico terrorist compound. The FBI refused to act. Instead the FBI told a neighbor to wear a hidden camera and risk his life by approaching an armed Islamist extremist compound. This lack of urgency by the FBI forced the local police action.

The recently departed head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) human resources department is under investigation for allegedly enabling sexual harassment in the agency over the course of several years. FEMA Administrator Brock Long told The Washington Post that a seven-month investigation found Corey Coleman, who led the agency’s personnel department since 2011, hired dozens of friends and college fraternity brothers, as well as women he met at bars and through online dating sites. Coleman promoted the individuals without going through the proper channels, and in some cases promoted or transferred women throughout the agency so his friends could...

Despite this week's barrage of developments in the Monica Lewinsky scandal, interviews conducted over the past three days confirm President Clinton's continued ability to withstand the sometimes serious, and often embarrassing, claims which have been disclosed since January, according to the latest CBS News poll. Poll findings on policy issues, as well as Americans' judgment about the essentially private nature of the scandal, provide a better insight into why public opinion has not turned against Mr. Clinton.

Justice Department prosecutors and congressional investigators both cannot be right about the House IT scandal by Mark Tapscott | Updated 05 Jul 2018 at 7:47 AM When Department of Justice (DOJ) prosecutors announced Tuesday they won’t press charges against House IT scandal kingpin Imran Awan, they violated one of the most fundamental rules of logic, the law of non-contradiction: That which is A cannot simultaneously also be non-A. Either Awan, his wife, two of his brothers and an unrelated friend — all of whom at one time or another since 2005 worked as IT aides for more than 40 House...

**SNIP** I sat flabbergasted in the courtroom in Washington as the plea agreement was entered. I spent the last year interviewing hundreds of people and chasing leads for my upcoming book –titled “Spies in Congress” – about the alleged spy ring believed led by Awan that may have operated in the offices of more than 40 Democratic members of Congress. If not for my extensive research on this case, I might have assumed the government just couldn’t find enough evidence to make a solid case against Awan on more serious charges than bank fraud. When I asked Justice Department prosecutor...

It’s the Washington conspiracy that barely speaks its name. And unlike the incandescent “Russian interference” scandal dominating the news for well over a year, this one has the potential to cause grave harm to our national security. **SNIP** How did Imran Awan come to be represented by a lawyer who is close to both Bill and Hillary Clinton? Mr. Awan, so far as one knows, does not know the Clintons personally. But his chief protector, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, certainly does. The Florida congresswoman was an outspoken ally of Hillary Clinton during her 2008 and 2016 presidential runs. And Awan’s attorney,...

THE man claiming to be Bill Clinton’s “love child” has hit out at the former President, accusing him of hypocrisy over America's immigration row. Danney Williams, 32, accused the ex-leader of double standards by showing sympathy for migrant kids separated from their parents at the US border but "abandoning his own son". Williams claims his mum Bobbie Ann, a former prostitute, became pregnant with him after meeting Clinton in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1984 and had a total of 13 trysts with the then state governor. Clinton married Hillary in 1975. The father-of-five has repeatedly called for Clinton to publicly...
