Did you know that there is a new religion out there? In addition to the Eastern Orthodox Catholics, Anglican Catholics, and Roman Catholics, there is now something called "Kennedy Catholics." At least according to the suddenly devout William Rivers Pitt in his DUmmie THREAD, "For any and all Kennedy Catholics on this page." Fasten your seatbelts because you will see the exact same folks who have no problem cursing out people who attend real (not Kennedy) Catholic churches suddenly become exceeding reverent, invoking beliefs that they do NOT have. Keep in mind that these are the same people who have no problem flashing their breasts and/or schlongs at churches on St. Patrick's Day or on Gay Day. And yet here they are and only because Ted Kennedy passes away, they suddenly "find" religion. The hypocrisy is absolutely stunning. So let us now watch Pied Piper Pitt and his fellow DUmmies reverently express precisely the beliefs they do NOT believe in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who knows that the DUmmies will quickly revert to worshiping the goddess Gaia who resides in Uranus, is in the [brackets]:

only days ago did i realize that i, and my family, are "kennedy catholics"- reading JFK: Unspeakable realized that it had nothing to do with "the church" -- it was a civic religion for them, and I inherited that. "world peace" and all that. this is the first time i've seen the phrase used outside of my own musing.

On NPR today they played some clips from the Kennedy funeral and then the reporter said the theme of the eulogies was that “Ted Kennedy never left anyone behind.” I nearly died laughing.
