HR 2749 creates severe criminal and civil penalties, including prison terms of up to 10 years and/or fines of up to $100,000 for each violation. Does it include judicial review, Congressional oversight, a defined and limited set of penalties and punishments for a defined set of “crimes”? Not even. The so called Food Safety Bill hands carte blanch enforcement to the whims of Obama’s Food Czar.

U R welcome, and we have to watch out for each other. This bill is treacherous, and is labeled just the way they always do, as something good. It’s Food Safety ACT, just like FAirness Doctrine, and we know how fair that doctrine is....so just how safe will our food be?
Thanks. Good points. I’m an avid gardener as are most in this area. I haven’t had to buy any vegetables from the store for three months. It’s either from our garden or the guy down the road with a huge garden, little stand and an honor box.

You are right, and now is time to address this as it ties to Beck’s show on FARMERS in CA not getting water due to environmentalists and a ‘bait fish’ being endangered species. The environmentalists are tied to the CZARS, and it is all part of same plan, to destroy America, Capitalism, and Freedom...including life as we know it.

The Food Safety ACt of 2009 could make growing your own food illegal, if we don’t stop it, or at the least exempt home gardens, small farms and farmers markets....beware the legal terminology in that bill....see above link for info during WWII and how people were mistreated.

What happened ________________ ? Basically the same thing that happened to me when I warned people about the housing bubble: I was attacked without mercy by trolls and shills, called derogatory names and vilified. Others simply attacked me because they did not like my message. Or were uninformed. Others were just plain stupid.
After trying every way I know to contact people in the health food industry, I simply gave up. Nobody listens, nobody even cares. Small farmers all over the state may be put out of business. My efforts to contact people in that field also fell on deaf ears. The deadline is about to expire in a few days. Obama has already collected $ Millions in campaign bribes from Monsanto. He appointed the pay master as his 'Food Safety Czar.' Open corruption, openly rewarded.

OH absolutely, if you read the articles I have linked you will find it is revisiting history all over again.
These Republicans are blind, and believe that a title that says Food Safety could not be bad...READING THE BILL, and using one’s head would stop this. COMMUNISTS ALWAYS SAY OPPOSITE OF WHAT THEY MEAN...The Fairness Doctrine was NOT Fair, and the Food Safety is not Safe, and the endangered species are not endangered, etc, etc, etc.
Help her to understand that if this Food Safety ACT does NOT EXEMPT the home gardner, small farm, farmers markets, and natural foods, supplements etc, it will be global control (codex alimentarius), and we could be fined and imprisoned for growing our own food. ONCE A LAW it will be almost impossible to change or exempt these protections for our food supply or our health.
Let her know these communists always use names to deceive, and Fairness Doctrine that is very unfair is a good example.

orchards, who sell products in house
homemade food restaurants
I buy ice cream, homemade, at a local farm that has a restaurant and everything is wonderful...but this kind of beaurocratic nonsense would put them out of business and bankrupt them or cause fines, and loss of their farm due to so much regulation, inspections, paperwork and gov’t control from the evil administration.
