Senators Say Forcing Taxpayers to Fund Abortion Morally Correct
A Semi-News/Semi-Satire from AzConservative ^ | 12 December 2009 | John Semmens

Posted on 12/14/2009 9:31:32 AM PST by John Semmens

California Senator Diane Feinstein (D) rebuffed criticisms that forcing all taxpayers—even those who believe it is murder—to pay for abortions is morally wrong.

“Morality isn’t something we can leave up to the individual,” Feinstein said. “People have all kinds of crazy ideas about what is or isn’t moral. It’s up to the government to settle on a common moral code for society. It is the citizen’s responsibility to support the government’s decision, even if he or she personally disagrees. So, yes, most definitely, if congress passes a law requiring taxpayers to fund abortions it is everyone’s moral obligation to support that law.”

Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-Md) went even further by insisting that opposition to the health care legislation before it is enacted is immoral. “There are pregnant women out there who are too poor to pay for their own abortions,” Mikulski asserted. “It is the obligation of those fortunate enough to be able to pay taxes to come to the aid of those less well-off. Sadly, personal greed impedes the correct moral action by individuals left to make their own decisions. This is where government must step in to ensure a moral outcome. Those who would attempt to block government action by opposing this bill are clearly on the side of immorality.”

CLEARLY

LOTS OF “Senators” . . . . creatures . . .

would not recognize a moral standard if it bit their offending appendages off . . .

. . . which might be construed as progress . . . beginning with some tongues . . . noses . . .

I know it’s satire, but I see an element of truth in that “report.” I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

We are truly living in bizzaro world now. When these two cretins have the audacity to preach their version of morals to us, I know we are finally at the end of days.

The same govt. that is run by tax cheats, thugs and communists?! I wouldn't trust anyone on Capital Hill to walk my dog let alone have them come up with a moral code for society.

Yes, and i ntheir minds, it’s also morally correct for government officials to receive a 2% ‘Cost of living increase’ while DENYING senior citizens a cost of living increase- Seniors, who often are forced to eat beans and crap food because they can’t afford anyhtign else, or who often go hungry because their medicatiosn cost too much.

Congress also apparently thinks it’s ;’morally correct’ to give the FBI 7% increase this year, the CIA 8& increase, and drug addicts somethign like $6 billion dollars for needle exchanges while seniors sit in freezing homes ,miss doctor appointments \etc etc etc because congress decided the seniors didn’t need a cost of livign increase this year, but htey handed themselves a cost of livign increase, and other govenrment programs cost of living increases- and htese folks get 20 times what the average senior citizen gets.

The peopel runnign htis coutnry are flat out A#$%$%^&- excuse my french

Absolutely, totally morally bankrupt and corrupt.

They are caught up in a strong delusion that is centered on the culture of death, their own power, and authored by the father of lies.

They have become so brazen as to openly state that forcing Americans, the majority of whom are against this holocaust, to be taxed to pay for the murder of innocent babies in the womb is "morally" correct. In their warped, deluded, and evil world, where they are being led around by the nose by beelzebub, it is the "correct" thing to do...but that does not change the fact that it is abject evil, and genocidal holocaust, and a bloody slaughter of innocents.

I realize that it says ‘satire’ in the link but you really need to put the word ‘satire’ in the title and in big letters. You are going to cause a lot of Freeper heart attacks. Your post borderlines on being cruel. It's funny, but cruel.

Is it truly “satire” if the subjects believe the absurd things ascribed to them? In this case, I suspect they just might.
