Scientist Debunks Alkaline Water Lies
Health Alkaline ^

Ray Kurzweil is a world renown scientist who was curious enough to do research on the amazing benefits of alkaline water. He confirms everything healthalkaline.com says about ionized water. Read more about Kurzweil.

Ray Kurzweil drinks 10 glasses of Alkaline Water a day and believes it will help him live a long and healthy life.

In this Q and A he answers your questions about Alkaline Water based on his own research and knowledge.

Question: I have read on the Internet that it is not possible to create alkaline or acid water from pure water and that water that is pure enough to drink can’t be split into alkaline and acid components. Is this true?

Ray Kurzweil: As responsible scientists, we had the same skepticism when we first heard about alkaline water. Therefore, the first thing we did was to purchase a water alkalinizer as well as an accurate electronic pH meter. We ran tap water with pH 7.1 from our home faucet into the device and found that...

If Kurzweil touches Linus Pauling, do they neutralize each other?

There are rumors circulating to the effect that after his last glass of alkaline water this man died. It is further rumored that his death was not pleasant to watch as his face dissolved. Confirmation is sought as to the truth of the rumors.

I drank a lot of that stuff in the early 70s when I was stationed on the Mojave desert. The fountain on a brand new water cooler was green and crusty within a month. Tasted like crap and I would swear that drinking and showering with that water was what made the little hair the Corps let me have on my head fall out. It was also the reason why beer became my primary beverage for a while.

New example of woo-woo science for me.

Amazing that anybody would buy into this nonsense.

Chemists around the world are laughing hysterically, which is why they are unable to type a response.

I’ve been drinking alkaline water for about 5 or 6 months. My BP is down, my meds are 1/2 what I previously was prescribed. Is it because of Alkaline water? I dunno, but with so many things you ingest in a day or a week, I have no idea how to isolate it to just that. But if I suddenly get ZOT ed by life, I’ll let y’all know.

Actually, it isn’t new. I remember reading about this silliness several years ago. It’s a recycled fad. Next will be coral calcium, I guess.

I have a “machine.” I was skeptical at first too. You can’t fake the science. I test the water. It has a pH of 9.5 and an ORP of -347.

Before this, I had a reverse osmosis unit. It produced water that was pH 3.5 acidic and +340 ORP.

Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s bogus. 80% of hospitals in Japan use them for a variety of medical ailments.

Sanyo has a washing machine that doesn’t use detergent. Its cleaning power is based on the same process. High alkaline water is “wetter.” I wash my veggies with 11.5 pH. It removes the oil soluble pesticides.

Here’s a curiosity for you. Because the water is wetter, I can make green tea with cold water or a whole strong pot of coffee with a 2 very small scoops of fresh grounds.

Some doctors claim to save diabetics from foot amputation, and cure bowel cancer by using this water.

Obviously these much to be learned about this water, but don’t poo poo it too quickly.

Here’s a page with a couple of very good videos about this water. Yes the videos are on a commercial site, and no I’m not involved with the business. I just drink the water.
