I just shook Herman Cain's hand at his book signing in College Station, TX.

I know, I know, 'and you had to run post a vanity about it ...' YES I DID!

I'm stoked!

This kind of reaction I will NEVER understand.

I like Cain too, but big freaking whoop.

i’m going to NH on Friday. Unfortunately, the only functioning campaigns right now are:
mitt
perry
huntsman
ronpaul
and would be giuliani if he gets in.

cain and bachmann don’t exist up there.

so that is a tough list to work with. the teaparty crowd in nh is lining up with perry. i guess by NH standards, he is the conservative.

Well, since Cain WILL be our nominee, you should take up his cause and get it rolling.

it sure would be easier if the campaign were interested. I did the wait for Fred Thompson in ‘08 and he never showed up and ended up with 1%. Tough to do it without a candidate, staff, events and all the stuff.

get on the phone, dj, and find some supporters up there.

But ......how? He’s on a book tour! Shouldn’t he be campaigning.

i don’t have a strong opinion on it, but the theory goes like this:
A. First step is to defeat Romney. By beating him in NH.
B. Then the race opens up to be Perry vs. a conservative, presumably Cain.

The whole things gets a lot easier if Romney is out. So that is the rational behind the conservatives backing Perry in NH. They figure it is their best chance to deal a fatal blow to Willard. And until Romney is defeated it is academic who everyone’s favorite conservative is.

Frankly, I think I’m gonna pull a sarah and just skip this race. But I’m agonna check it out.

FWIW, I think Mitt will flop. He’ll lose IA. NH will be close. He wins NV. Loses SC. and gets beat in FLA. At some point he hasta get a following amoungst the people cuz without it he’s just a guy with a big campaign checkbook.

Rudy is testing the waters now? Jeez!

Bring him on, he’d take votes from Romney. Huntsman would be doing the same if Huntsman actually had any support.

I met him, shook hands with him and talked with him for over 30 seconds in the receiving line at the GOP Debate in Tampa, FLorida on September 12, 2011.

30 seconds is a very long time in a receving line.

He is very personable and gracious.

I told him I liked his 9-9-9 plan and would he pause long enough for me to bring the 4 older ladies to up front who absolutely love him to get a picture with him?

He said to me, “you mean you don’t?”

LOL.

He readily stayed for the picture and they were thrilled!

Trust me on this, Herman Cain *is* one of us!

Do whatever you can to support our TEA PARTY’s toughest candidate!

I just posted about my personal experience with Herman Cain in Tampa, Florida.

I also met and talked with Perry, Bachmann, Newt and Romney.
