Fears of Chicago NATO riots are so heightened that a big condo association has warned its residents to flee their homes for their own safety from Sunday May 19 through May 21. So much for peaceful protesting by world wide objectors upset about nearly everything.
“We are STRONGLY recommending that all residents find alternative places to stay,” says a Property Manager’s letter sent to all residents last Thursday.
“In the event of a riot or the potential of one near the building, all access doors will be locked,” Michele Maeder is telling her condo dwellers in the Library Tower high rise located at 520 South State Street.
All hospitality and entertainment rooms will be locked along with their revolving door beginning early on Friday of the NATO weekend. Emergency egress only will be allowed through a side alley.
No dog walkers, no cleaning ladies, or anyone else will be allowed in or out during the critical time when the Condo is under siege. The building is also hiring two armed off duty police officers to protect residents! While the exact arrival time of protestors is still unknown, a protest route has finally been approved.
Grant Park’s Petrillo Band Shell, the site of the Obama huge election night celebration, will be the starting point for protestors.
They will proceed on State Street right past the Library Tower Condominium and around McCormick Place where the NATO Summit will be held. “There will be absolutely no deliveries or moves permitted between Friday, May 18 and Monday, May 21,” Manager Maeder is telling her residents.
So much for Mayor Rahm Emanuel who was looking to build great photo ops for his possible run at the White House in 2016. Already, his nose reportedly got out of joint…

There hasn’t been a riot at Kent State for a long time. It works.
Check and double check, my friend. Just hit the range last weekend to make sure everythiing is sighted in properly, cleaned, and well lubricated.
I’m about 40 miles west of there so anyone who makes it our this way will be the most determined and ruthless of the bunch. We’ve got a little welcoming party planned for them.

A while back that Gander Mountain up in Hoffman Estates had mil-surp 12 gauge 00 buck for 3.79 a box. Bought it cheap, stacked it deep.
They had a pile of soft point 5.56 for about 4.00 a box, too. Did the same.
Last summer a buddy of mine and I grabbed some of those reflective vests, hard hats, clip boards, and radios. Then we took a laser rangefinder and staked off likely avenues of approach. A stake with a red flag is 100 yards, yellow is 200, blue is 300, and so on.
It’s amazing what you can get away with if you look the part...
The way I understand the strategy is if there is chaos and riots, this gives Obama and his cronies the opportunity to introduce Marshall law and get rid of habeous corpus(sp?). They will blame the tea party and Republicans for the riots(for what I do not know) That is when all hell breaks lose. I don’t know if it will happen. I just know that this is the strategy.

I agree. When I read this story earlier it struck me that my country truly is devolving into a 3rd world hellhole.
Got lucky when I bought I guess. We're in one of the higher elevations in the county. On a clear day I can see the Sears Tower from my backyard. The 4 lane running east slopes down and away for over a mile.
And I'm done running, friend Gonzo. If they make it out my way they're gonna pay for every single yard.
It is amazing how effective that is.

Not the tea party-ers, I hope. I mean, I know they wouldn’t riot, but the dems project and think that everyone acts like them.
