When Glenn Beck said many years ago that the GOP will soon be overrun with progressives, just like how it destroyed the Democrat party and all you see now are the far left freaks..that this would happen to the GOP I didnt believe him, thought he was nuts..not anymore..every single day another one pops up to trash Ted Cruz, or Sarah Palin, or anyone else who calls themselves Conservatives..what the GOP Establishment wants is to get rid of the Conservatives in the party and make the party “moderate” which means leftist..that is what they want..that is why you see Steve Schmidt on MSLSD trashing Sarah Palin, because they blame her for endorsing Ted Cruz, they blame her for him, just like they hate all Conservatives..its not going to be easy to get rid of these vermin but it HAS to be done, otherwise the GOP is finished

Getting rid of the “GOP Establishment” which is basically the progressive portion of the GOP is not easy..

If by "progressive" you mean "Big Government" and "Ruling Class," I agree.

How, then, do we abolish the insufferable one-party system we have? If we must “work within the system” that has been painstakingly set against us, then only full revolution can suffice to feed the tree of liberty.

A third party - destined to grow with the tide of human understanding brought about by the slavery imposed by the current two parties - is the least traumatic course toward liberty, friends.

I’ll put it as Zo said, “To many of y’all, for some reason, keep basing your views of the Republican party on people and their deviations instead of basing your view on the actual platform. These RINOs do not define what it is to be a Republican, but you’re letting them.”

It is not the platform but the BEHAVIOR of the republicans that cause us trouble.

Anyone who believes a piece of paper versus their own eyes, ears, and brain are freaking delusional.

The GOP does NOT believe in, nor fight for, the planks in its own platform.

The platform is just a piece of paper, it means little, since it hardly resembles the GOPs actual legislative agenda in practice. The reason it doesn’t is because the RINOs in the party derail any attempt to push a conservative agenda. So yes, they do define what it is to be a Republican. They have defined us as a party of ineffectual losers who can’t inspire Americans, because we don’t stand for anything at all.

The RINO infestation is, at least in part, caused by the Democrats. The further they move to the left, the less comfortable the squishy moderates feel in their party, so more of them join the GOP.

This has the dual effect of making the Dems more effective, since they have less divisions in the party, and making us less effective, because our divisions grow.

You wouldn’t wipe the smile off my face for a week if I woke up to find Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin,, and Mark Levin announce the establishment of a third party which was actually a second party since there actually is zero practical difference between the dems and pubs.

Yep that is what I mean..big Govt, gay marriage supporting, Conservative bashing RINOS..that term I never understood..when one says Republican In Name Only, like McCain, I dont even consider him a Republican, he sure doesnt talk like one or act like one..if Ronald Reagan were alive today he would be disgusted at what the GOP has become..its up to us to save it

The old GOP died when Romney lost in 2012.

We are just now finally casting off the dead weight of the old GOP.

Their lingering stench was decreased a lot this week by nice cool breezes coming out of TEXAS and Utah.

If you take political contributions from businesses, either large companies or international corporations, they will by and large be progressive.

Money in politics is key; that is what campaigns run on. Cash, and lots of it.

Not their call, nor anyone else’s.
Period.
If there is another Romney or another McCain then those of us who are social conservatives will likely vote for someone other than the Republican candidate again.

“Third-Party” is the wrong point of view. Instead, focus on “Replacement Party”.

Depending on business, I have a fair chunk budgeted for donations direct to candidates each year. I won’t give a penny to the GOP and I won’t donate to any candidate who shares funds with the GOP. Neither do I personally know anyone who still does. So when I say I want to starve the GOP, I want them to know I am sincere.

The GOP is dying and imploding before our very eyes. We had better be prepared to replace it at a moments notice.

A third party is the only answer. When the Republicans are redistricting Tea Party candidates and would rather lose (or trade) a republican seat for a dem seat rather than support a tea partier then working within the two party system is going to be futile.
