I’d like that chant to be everywhere around every news crew.
Well, liberals have decided that a travel ban will make it harder to fight Ebola in Africa.
They don’t consider whether it makes it easier to keep Ebola from spreading more in America.
And they don’t consider whether we can ban people traveling FROM these places but still allow humanitarian aid and people to travel TO these places. They don’t consider that anyone going there should be quarantined before being allowed to return.
For liberals, it’s either/or, all or nothing. So that means we are not allowed to ban travel from people from these countries. There will be more Duncans and we just have to accept our fate. Apparently that’s what Obama wants to see happen.
Indeed; it’s asking too much of the master of pen and phone.

Is there a reason the airlines can’t implement their own ban on incoming flights?
Must it come from Obama? Idk.

Hey, Obama, how about appointing a czar to look out for American interests since you do not.
Their title would be “America First Czar”.
The only problem is he does not know anyone who would qualify for the job.
Presuming that Obama would veto a bill to implement a travel ban, note that Congress has the constitutional authority, under Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes and implement a travel ban without Obama.
The problem is that Obama guard dog Harry Reid probably wouldn’t let the Senate either pass or support an override of such a bill.

I just don’t understand how our government could interfere with their decision to stop flying a certain route or to a certain city. They have made these changes in the past when a route proved unprofitable. If Ebola does become active in the U.S., people are going to quit flying unless it’s an absolute emergency because of the risk. Airlines can only take reduced loads so long before their slim profit margins are gone.
People need to stop flying now and let the airlines know why before it gets worse. The power of the consumer can make the airlines an ally in this fight.
If the Dems admit securing the border would be effective in stopping Ebola, then that puts to the lie 30 years of Democrat/Liberal bulls**t regarding open borders.
It also destroys the memes behind allowing millions more illegals into the country, to secure a permanent Democrat majority, for decades to come.

In this “new Reality”, we have an administration that uses the power of government to attack opponents, or anyone that might make them look bad.
(IRS, or the Benghazi video maker, for example)
Even the whisper of “Enhanced oversight”, or making up some kind of “Maintenance issue” excuse against them could be enough to insure compliance.
