Beware of Republican Unipartyists bearing Cuban straw men

Of course Barack Obama’s latest treachery – normalizing relations with the Castro Brothers prison state – is a terrible thing. It is as fraudulent as Obama is and it will further crush any hopes the average Cuban might have of ever being free. By infusing cash to prop up a torture regime Obama has all but guaranteed the Cuban people’s nightmare will continue after the Castros have died. They need only look to Venezuela to see their own desolate future.

Yet, as sad as this is for the Cuban people, it is fraught with dangers for us as well. The American people have just been tricked into voting for a Uniparty that couldn’t wait to become a dictatorship with the help of its Republican wing. Just as elections in third world countries have regularly been rendered meaningless, our national elections have now lost any significance.

The in-your-face nature of the thugs in the Republican wing of Uniparty has already shown itself and there is little reason to think things will improve. They will use the Cuban treachery as an opportunity to mock us for still believing in the Constitution.

First a little honesty: We have far more pressing problems facing us than the state of democracy in Cuba. We can wring our hands in “solidarity” with the suffering Cuban people, but our lives will not be impacted by their plight to an extent nearly as great as amnesty, Obamacare, the IRS VA and Fast and Furious scandals. Nor will it be nearly as important to us as the damage the EPA is doing. Herein rests the real danger.

Obama’s Cuban stunt gives the Republicans a chance to beat their breasts and howl in outrage while they do nothing about the real dangers of amnesty and...

Financial spport to Cuba is fading fast from Russia and Venezuela, both on the brink of bankruptcy. Then comes fellow traveller Zero to the rescue as Cuba nears collapse from its own weight.

When is he going to spring on us that he’s putting up the white flag over Guantanamo Navy base and surrendering it to the Castro’s?

Treachory smeachery.

I don’t like the guy’s position on just about everything but, this embargo is stupid and long overdue for a funeral.

The disolving of the embargo only helps the Castros and their accolytes?

Uhm, well...who is the greatest beneficiary of current policy?

Give these people American products, McDonald’s, Starbucks and Coca Cola.

Surely after wearing our Levi’s and shopping at Walmart some leader will emerge and move the country toward democracy or democracy lite.

I prefer Pepsi Lite or Diet Coke. So a not so perfect but, better system emerging is reasonable to me.

After all, Pinochet was a sorry S.O.B. but, look at Chile today.

It is a thriving and free country.

Other countried may eventually follow suit and that’s good for everyone, particularly Cuba.

I noted the irony of obama’s rationale for the move, saying that after 50 years of failure, it’s time to scrap the idea.

Yet the failed War on Poverty continues apace, more than 50 years on.

Do YOU stand in opposition to the Uniparty?

What the GOPE has made is a Socialist Unity Party of America by not fighting this crap coming down from The Regime.

Well, then the McDonalds franchise on Gitmo might have something to say about that—course it’s a miliary facility lease not owned real estate.

Photos all over the net of the beautiful base there- and many friends who served there, to include their horrific stories of the mine field the Cubans laid outside the base wall’s/fenceline that regularly killed poor Cubanos trying to escape INTO the base (many times my friends said they would be in bed at night in 50’s style CB housing and hear the mines go off— next day mangled bodies left in the mine fields by the Cuban military— nice). And how the day workers (Cubanos) who came in to work at the base (when that happened) could set up a bank account on base for their onsite pay (the most incredible gift the US could give to these lovers of freedom), and how every day when they left they were viciously searched by the Cuban guards on their side. Don’t know if this continues, but hope it does.

Gitmo has a LEGAL treaty 99 year lease with rent paid annually by the US. The treaty is for “as long as is neccessary” in its terms.
We have paid every year since that time. And we wanted to have 3 other naval bases but did not pursue them. This was the Treaty that gave Cuba its freedom from Spain (which was won by the USA for them).

Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuban%E2%80%93American_Treaty

So, the “neccesary” part might be used by obamaumao et cie to justify ending this-— at a great cost to the US and to the decent Cuban people who still seek freedom. There are still 132 largely Yemeni jihadists at GTMO prison facility, and can’t be released due to the Yemeni civil war. So, there’s that but then why would that stop the head muzzie wuzzie in chief. Deo Vindice.

Rand Paul's immigration speech
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...

Rand Slams Congress for Funding Egypt's Generals: 'How Does Your Conscience Feel Now?'
Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt's military -- even as Cairo's security forces massacre anti-government activists. [by "anti-government activists" is meant church-burning Christian-murdering jihadists]

OBAMA EMBRACE THE CUBAN GENOCIDE REGIME

POPE FRANCIS CONCOCTED OBAMA’S UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER TO THE CUBAN TYRANNICAL STALINISTT REGIME.

Obama and Raúl Castro thank pope for breakthrough in US-Cuba relations.

Pope Francis, before visiting The Holy Land boasted to be himself the “Che” of the Palestinian people.

Francis have kept silent while the Cuban communists murder, torture, and violates the human rights in the island prison, and deft to Cuban people plight for freedom.

A Marxist leaning Pope blessed the Marxist American president embrace of Castro's genocide communist regime condemning the Cuban enslaved people to eternal damnation. On the deal Castro liberated an American illegally imprisoned in Cuba in exchange for the freedom of three Cuban spies serving prison terms in U.S. and the normalization of relations with a country that occupied for decades a top position in the list of the State Department ‘s terrorist countries.

The Cuban regime tried to obliterate New York and Washington with a nuclear attack during the October Missile Crisis of 1962. “In November 1962, the Castro brothers’ and Che Guevara’s agents had targeted Macy’s, Gimbels, Bloomingdales, and Manhattan’s Grand Central Station with a dozen incendiary devices and 500 kilos of TNT. The Holocaust was set for detonation the following week, on the day after Thanksgiving.” (Humberto Fontova)

Castro has been a strong ally of Islamic terrorism. Cuba continues to serve as a base for coordination and mutual support among transnational terrorist organizations. At Tehran University he stated to the thunderous applause of students and faculty, "The imperialist king will finally fall,” (AFP, May 10, 2001). Immediately afterward the Iranian Press Service proudly proclaimed that "Iran and Cuba reached the conclusion that together they can tear down the United States.” (IPS, May 10, 2001).

According to World renown and highly respected American investigative journalist and author, Claire Sterling, : “All of the world’s emerging terrorist bands in the 1970’s were indebted to the Cubans and their Russian patrons for that honeycomb of camps around Havana. None could have started without rudimentary training, and those who didn’t train in Cuba were trained by others who did.” (“The Terror Network, The Secret War on International Terrorism.”)

As reported by Sterling, “Castro was training the advance guards of the coming European fright decade – Palestinians, Italians, Germans, French, Spanish Basques – and forming guerrilla nuclei in practically every Western hemisphere state south of the American border. As far back as 1962, Castro’s camps were taking in 1,500 Latin American guerrillas a year. . ‘Any revolutionary movement anywhere in the world can count on Cuba’s unconditional support,’ declared Castro at the 1966 Tricontinental Conference in Havana”. It was then and there that the international terrorism network was consolidated under Castro’s leadership.”

Fidel Castro “jailed political prisoners at a higher rate than Stalin during the Great Terror. He murdered more Cubans in his first three years in power than Hitler murdered Germans during his first six. He came closer than anyone in history to starting a world-wide nuclear war.” Humberto Fontova. (http://www.carolinajournal.com/opinions/display_story.html?id=11121)

It is suicidal turning a blind eye to Castro, a deadly enemy at 90 miles south of Key West that does not hide his hatred for U.S.

After the restoration of diplomatic relations comes the end of the embargo.

To complete Obama’s betrayal of the American people, with the normalization of relations comes the opening to Cuba of the American and International bank credits that will sustain the Cuban regimen passing to the American taxpayers the same heavy burden that helped to bankrupt the Soviet Union.
