Ted Cruz spoke to Chris Cuomo this morning on CNN about the Twitter battle that took place between the two of them last night on Western Tuesday. This is what he had to say:

Cruz: But what Donald did last night, and listen, you’re in New York, you’ve seen this a lot. When Donald gets scared, when he gets angry, when he’s threatened, he begins yelling, he begins screaming, he begins often cursing, and he begins trying to be a bully. So last night Donald threatened my wife, he went directly after my wife. And I gotta tell you, number one- Heidi, my wife, she’s the daughter of missionaries in Africa, she’s my best friend in the world, and if Donald wants to get in a character fight, he’s better off sticking with me because Heidi is way out of his league. But it is also– it reveals a lot about character, it reveals a lot about class, that Donald’s instinct is to try to attack my wife and sully her. And you know what, that should be beneath Donald. But you know Chris, the reason he’s doing that? Is because he had a very bad night last night. He got clobbered in Utah. Remember Donald campaigned in Utah, he tried to win in Utah, and he got blown out of the water. And he is seeing Republican uniting behind our campaign.

Cruz says he has nothing to do with that PAC. Trump is threatening Ted Cruz’s wife over something Ted Cruz has nothing to do with and no control over. Donald Trump should not be allowed anywhere near ANY public office that would allow him to gain access to the personal information of American citizens.
Not funny at all. The picture of Trump’s wife is public domain. In my generation that would’ve ended his bid for the presidency, boom, just like that. But Trump making ominous threats of exposing some secret is defamation by innuendo, something in which Trump has shown himself to be very skillful. I get Ted’s response totally. He’s a good man defending a better woman. I’d do the same and respect him for it and cannot for the life of me figure out why I feel like such an outsider on an allegedly conservative forum. The world is upside down.

You missed the point. Cruz had the opportunity to disavow the ad and did not take. Rather, when Trump rightly defended his wife, Cruz attempted to make his wife and himself the victim.
Then let him come out and denounce it. He won’t because he’s a lying jerk.He likes to talk about Trump being responsible for every riot and anything bad that happens in the world but can’t stop someone who is supporting financially from being a scumbag? Where is the leadership?

A lot of Trumpbots would have a hard time rationalizing Ducking Donnie as their choice, if they couldn’t convince themselves that Cruz is the Devil. That’s why the attacks against Cruz continue.
I don’t care where it was posted-—on the firehouse wall. Just like having the porn star in his own ads, Lyin Ted now has his PAC going after Trump’s wife.

Actually, Trump has been generous. He has given Lyin’ Ted the opportunity to deal with this, just like Carson gave him the opportunity to deal with the Iowa lie-—and Ted didn’t. I’m shocked that he’s so thick-headed. This was supposed to be the sharp guy.

He can’t stop anyone from being a scumbag, unless they actually work for him. He can’t show leadership by stopping a person he doesn’t have any control of.

Constitutional and conservative principles guide my political decisions, not whether they’re a “professional politician”. Furthermore, I don’t make crucial decisions that will affect our country for generations to come on emotion. I actually think about who shares my values before I just reflexively vote for someone.
Why is it that you’re willing to abandon all of your conservative principles solely for the purpose of voting in someone who’s never held political office on the fallacious belief that he’s the only one who can win with an R behind his name?
Why is it you’ll vote for a RINO named Donald in the primaries, but you wouldn’t even think of voting for a RINO named Mitch in the general election against a horrible man who is a Marxist?
Ted did not inspire, produce or pay for that ad anymore than Trump inspired, paid for those who are punching out demonstrators at a Trump rally.
Trump and evidently his many fans like wallowing in the mud during a debate but can't debate Mano a Mano with his main competitor, nor tolerate a political campaign.
If Trump squeals now, wait 'til Hillary and Co. tear into him and his entire family!
