Election Integrity Activists Disturbed by Execution-Style Murder of DNC Data Guru Seth Rich
Soapbox.com ^ | August 3, 2016 | Ralph Lopez

Election analysts who surmise that voter suppression tactics against Bernie Sanders must have been assisted by voter database hacks are wondering at the timing and senselessness of the murder of a DNC data director, Seth Rich. Rich was shot multiple times in the back in a puzzling random murder in an affluent area of Washington DC. Nothing was taken from him, and robbery was ruled out as the motive. Rich was from Nebraska.

When hundreds of thousands of voters were dropped from the rolls, or found their party registrations changed without their permission, in the Democratic primaries in New York, Arizona, and California, one question lingered: How did the fiascos come to affect almost exclusively Bernie Sanders supporters?

It has emerged that the NGP VAN database, a tool used by almost every Democratic political campaign and which certainly was used by Sanders, included information such as to whom a voter has donated, and other highly specific references to candidates. Arizona election integrity activist John Brakey, co-founder of AUDIT-AZ, "Americans United for Democracy, Integrity, and Transparency in Elections," said in an email:

"They know if you like anchovies or not. What magazines you're reading and more."

Brakey said the NGP VAN would certainly contain information which could be used to target likely Sanders voters in voting list purges.

Just so we don't forget this story. There is an interesting link in the story, connecting to possible election fraud (DNC primaries, of course) in AZ:

https://anonymousinvestigationsblog.wordpress.com/2016/03/26/anonymous-report-was-arizonas-voter-registration-database-hacked/

It concerns the DNC voter database the NGP VAN program.

Seth Rich, given his position in the DNC, would definitely have been involved with this program.

Interstingly Guccifer 2.0 who claimed he carreid out the hack of the DNC mail server said in his first interview that he used a weakness in the NGP VAN to gain access to the DNC computers. The likelihood of this has been contested by other experts who lean towards the Russian track, but so far nothing but guesses have reached the public.

Someone else who does not allow this question to be forgotten is Newt Gingrich:

If this guy was involved in disenfranchising thousands of people, then he got what he deserved. Time will hopefully, reveal who killed him.

Reading about him it is more likely he found out what was going on and who did it.

If one is into conspiracy theories of course. ;-)

Problem is that given Hillary's antecedentia it is very hard not to be paranoid. And remember even us paranoiacs may be persecuted, so there. :-)

In California if you don’t have AC, you die.

The WMAL morning drive show talked to a police representative a couple of days after the murder. The representative said that there were two robberies within a couple of blocks of where Rich was shot that same night. The location was “near Howard University and is often a scene of robberies.” The Rep said that Rich may have fought back, thus leading to him being shot.

Doesn't make sense to me. No self-defense wounds were reported. He was shot in the back (not front) which isn't consistent with trying to stop someone intent on defending himself. No property was taken. Makes no sense.

He did have some facial injuries and a scraped knee, so there may have been a fight. If the perp had the gun out it is more likely he would have been shot then, and in the front of the body.

Of course he may have been able to break free, and the perp shot after him, more in revenge than in an act to commit robbery. Possible, but how likely that the robber ran away after the shooting without taking anything.

In San Francisco no.
We don’t have AC, very very few do.
There are more in the East Bay, but it’s also uncommon.
The AC is natural here.

The police representative said there were bruises/scratches on his hands that they believe showed he had fought back at whomever attacked him. The rep also said that often robbers take off after shooting their victim not wanting to take time to loot the body because of folks hearing the shots and reporting them.

That sounds reasonable, but it doesn’t cover why the victim was shot in the back. If the assailant was nervous enough to cut and run like that, and if the motive was simple robbery, I don’t think any shots would have been fired, unless the motive was to silence the witness.

Reading about him it is more likely he found out what was going on and who did it.

Why has every picture I've seen of this young man shown him dressed in red, white, and blue?

We ridiculed his attire here on FR.

But what if Seth was a really a patriot and saw how Hillary stole the primaries? Maybe his outing her on that would also out Hillary on her planned election fraud in the general election?

Nothing of value was stolen from Seth when he was murdered. But maybe there was something else in his possession that night, like a thumb drive. If so, this would have been infinitely more valuable than his cell phone or wallet.

And this is why Julianne Assuange put out the reward. Seth was never able to deliver the data on the thumb drive. 🙁

There is a lesson in this for future whistleblowers...

Everyone must check at their SoS office that their voter registration is still intact. Do this right before you vote in November.

In my state, I can do this online in about 30 seconds.

If the scuttlebutt is believed, he found out that the Clinton website was sending voters to polling places that were not legal and then getting those ballots and bringing them to legal sites and exchanging Sanders ballots with those for Hillary. I think I remember that right! If not, someone here will clarify.
