The reason they (the government, Trump),kept preaching to people not to look up at the sun without super dark glasses is because Louis Farrakahn’s mother ship was pulling into position and soon all black people will be whisked off the earth. They didn’t want anyone to see it and try to stop it. Bunch of racists.
It’s interesting that the next eclipse occurs in 7 years, once again crossing the US, but in a different direction.
Well, I can understand that position; even though I don’t fully agree with it.
I believe that any notion of ‘end time’ derived from religious/spiritual texts refers to something internal, within individuals.
Despite outer catastrophes, within human history the Earth, World - whatever you want to call it - has always remained for the survival of ‘remnants’ where the catastrophe took place.
It will be so until the Sun burns-out - by which time we will all be long gone to whatever ‘otherwhere’, or ‘otherbeing’ that God has in store for us.

According to the fool who wrote that article in The Atlantic, the eclipse was clearly racist. Not making this up.
If you take the date of the eclipse in America, 8/21/2017—821,2017, multiply it by the 232, the number of days since January 1, 2017, then multiply it all by 112,017, then divide that by 783,137, the number of words in the King James Version of the Bible while sipping peppermint tea, then you are a complete fool who will do anything anyone tells you to do.

I tend not to look at an event such a solar eclipse in that fashion. There are events that I certainly do though.
