They would dare, but they would fail and they know that. They cannot get enough states to ratify, no matter how scary their latest false-flag or real tragedy may be packaged to seem.

“NG troops will be sent from their home states to other states to enforce their confiscation “laws”. The idea is that NG troops from Komifornia don’t give a crap about people in Alabama or Georgia so they will have no problem killing them ... and visa-versa.”

What makes you think that the South Carolina guard will pitch their tents and go kill Americans in Georgia? You read too many comicbooks.

“Cops on the street will not blindly obey orders from leftist mayors and city councils to confiscate guns.”

That’s true.

so that’s why the leftists set up other language to make the cops do the same thing. Things like “Mental Health” and other words.

If you phrase it right, the police will gleefully confiscate everyone’s guns. Just never call it confiscation. Call it registration then call it a gun recall. Do all sorts of things.

Something like “An Everytown Action” will suffice nicely.

No one will “Confiscate” anything if you say it out loud like that. It needs nuance. It needs pizzazz. Maybe something like “Asset Forfeiture” or “Failure to comply” will do the trick.

Florida themselves did a confiscation. CT does confiscations. The police don’t even bat an eye about the procedure. They think they are doing something good.

I’m guessing you have no close relations currently in the military?

The Left continually harangues against gun owners, propagandizing that they are violent, hating people who are too dangerous to be owning the guns that they have used in perfectly safe manners for sport, hunting and occasionally to defend their homes and businesses.
Having convinced themselves of this narrative, don’t they have any thought as to what all of us slavering killers might do if they try to disarm us?

Their weapons are op-eds and books, and loud mouths.

Many States would codify the RTBA in a big way. The feds would have to suck it.

Times have changed, old Sam Adams never had a mortgage, a car payment, a payment on the ATV and kids playing soccer and enrolled in dance........

Nice quote from history which has been posted here ad nauseum over the ages. But it doesn't make you any smarter or the revolution any closer..........

I remember when Clinton signed the waiting period law. The governor is South Carolina issued an executive order mandating instant background checks. No waiting period here.

“Connecticut halts plans to round up firearms after finding most cops in the state are on the list”

That was a blog post from four years ago that never was substantiated............Specifically, March 4, 2014

“If you phrase it right, the police will gleefully confiscate everyone’s guns.”

Then explain to me why the LA cops in 1992 refused to confiscate the arms - rocks and bottles - of the rioters. Are you inferring that the order to confiscate the rioters’ arms - racks and bottles - wasn’t phrased correctly? And instead, without a correctly phrased order, the cops hauled ass out of LA to go protect their families.

Please continue. This is getting interesting.

Bull. It was a news story, not a blog post, from your leftist heroes at NBC.

Why are you here on FR?

You missed my point ... blue state NG would be sent to Red States to do the confiscation. You think NG troops from Massachusetts care about people in South Carolina or Mississippi? You would be wrong. Visa-versa would be a little more difficult but would happen.

They already don’t comply in NY, CT, etc where they have passed outrageous gun laws.

“I’m guessing you have no close relations currently in the military?”

I’m just paraphrasing what some of my retired military/police buddies at the range once said when this sort of topic came up.

Geez, CapnJack. I’m a member of the guard, and ain’t no way I’m going to another state to kill Americans. And if any NG from California shows up in my community, they’ll be shot to tiny, itty-bitty pieces.

Where do you get this crap from?

Your incorrect analogy depicts “living with it.”

Such a statement is capitulation. All I’m going to type.

Insofar as the OP, aint’ gonna happen.

I’ve read through most of this thread already. It’s full of chest-thumping braggadocio resembling the old “from my cold, dead hands” line. But that doesn’t make it bad or wrong. The left *WILL* make every attempt to disarm the dirt-people - and fail.

Sure, some of the military will cross over and refuse to follow orders as will some of the law enforcement groups. The remainder will fail too. They’re just too outnumbered. They will raid one home and make an example of their quarry. We, OTOH, will make him/her a martyr and they can’t kill someone who is already dead. So, how many would die for the cause of freedom? Well, how many have died for it already?

On another note, I heartily recommend everyone read Matt Brackens short story “What I Saw at the Coup” and think hard about his little ditty regarding news reporters: “If the media lies, the media dies. You take a side, you’re along for the ride. A traitor in front of a camera is still just a traitor.”

Think about it!
