**** Official Friday Silliness Thread ****
Our "Clever" Minds ^ | 09/30/2005 | That's Arthur

Posted on 09/30/2005 5:46:55 AM PDT by BJClinton

Yeah! This was a brutal week. 33% of my office was out on paternity leave (okay, so there's only 3 of us). K, leave all seriousness aside and get silly. And if you blew it all on Wednesday, pffft!

As Rita approached, all of East Texas boarded up in preperation. Here's a pic from College Station of the efforts...

If you've been living in a cave in Afghanistan for the last week you may have missed this:

You Are 23 Years Old
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.
What Age Do You Act?

Nothing like the 7:30 am, blood curdling screeches of a Moluccan to wake you up in the morning.

I shoulda bought a rooster.

Otherwise, drinking coffee....debating on waffles or pancakes for breakfast. That is the extent of my brain function.

Yeah,
Nothing to brag about. Two glasses of sangria, a phone call and I went to bed after Hannity and Colmes (I gotta stop living in the fast lane!)

And how was your evening?

Good, dinner with family at Furr's (happening place! LOL). Didn't make it to Conan, though.

You brought back some memories with that poster. I was a sky diving instructor at the time, and all of "us" received that "flyer." Even Parachutist magazine had the drawings of DB. They figured that one of us knew him, or one of us was him.

Waffle iron,

Sorry...

They're made.

Just got a phone call from GBB (Grumpy Batchelor Brother)...

We share a well, and it seems the pump tank is busted and he's gonna fix it in an hour.

Sez we'll be without water for 30 minutes.

I threw a load of laundry in the washer and I'm running around filling the bathtub and every container I have.

If I don't, odds are, we'll be without water for 2 weeks.

And he won't mind...he hasn't cleaned his bathroom in 6 years and the only fluid he drinks is Killians.

Yeah,
I love my brother,
but even he calls himself Jethro Bodine.

IOW, if there is a way to make something simple, difficult, he can.
