it was pulled for a short while, which backfired on the Scientologists, as all the publicity regarding the episode sparked curiosity from people all around, and when it finally WAS re-run, it was more popular than ever!

Did you see the one recently that skewered Paris Hilton? It was LOL funny but got extremely crude in the end, unfortunately.

my favorite part in the paris hilton episode was at the beginning, when Wendy kept asking "but what does she DO?!?"

The scientologists could not sue because TRUTH would be the defense and they would legally have to admit they actually DO believe in theatans and that aliens are going to come back to the earth etc.

Well, it was banned for a time in Britain, whose free speech protections are not as strong. It did eventually air there.
