GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- Grand Prairie police are on the hunt for a restaurant robber with a brutal punch.
The attack happened Monday night at the McDonald's in the 800 block of E. Main Street.
Wayne Moore, 66, stopped at McDonalds on his way home from a ball game.
Surveillance video shows another man at the register knocking Moore out cold. The robber then rifles through Moore's pockets and runs out with his wallet.
Moore said the incident took him by complete surprise.
"The next thing I know, it's paramedics and police. I never saw him coming. Cheap shot all the way."
Moore only had $2 in his billfold. He said he is still sore, but improving every day.
The wanted man -- described as a male between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 175 and 200 pounds -- fled the restaurant on foot.

Interesting that the "male" has no race. Guess we are just supposed to look for "males".
Not a whole lot you can get at McDonalds for 2 dollars. Maybe a 99 cent burger but nothing to drink with it.
Moral of the story: always keep looking around -- especially when near potential threats.

Have you ever felt in danger at the McDonald's register? Have you ever stood with your back to people? I have, and have never thought about someone coming up and decking and robbing me.
Next they'll try to call it profiling when you identify their sex...although that's getting harder to determine every day.
OMGosh, I just realized that this describes most of the men at our last Freeper meeting! Okay, which one of you did it? No wait, it also sounds like half of the men in my neighborhood. Gee, this search is going to be difficult.
