They’ve ruined Journey to the Imagination at EPCOT forever. Which is not a bad thing.

Does anybody know if the writer’s strike will affect SP, since they usually write the same week they do it?

Not unless Matt and Trey themselves are striking. I’m pretty sure that they’re still the main writers of SP.

Help me out here, Evening Star, I am a little behind the curve on pop culture matters.

I've never seen South Park (hard to believe, I know), but I have been wondering if it is the source of this expression, "bwaaaaahaahaa" that folks frequently post?

(I don't mean to imply any criticism of SP, which I know is very popular. I'm just getting a little long in the tooth and don't have much interest in pop culture anymore...rarely watch entertainment tv, never seen Boston Legal, Dancing with Stars, American Idol, which is not to suggest that SP has much to do with these more mainstream shows. Also never seen The Daily Show. I need help to follow the converation, re: bwaaaahaaahaaa.)

I can tell you this - if you watch an episode, it'll either be the worst thing you've ever seen on TV, or the funniest.

I can't claim in-tact virginity in these matters -- I used to watch Married With Children, which I think was the opening salvo of upstart FOX in cracking the mainstream sitcom lineups by trying to elevate tastelessness to art. It did make me laugh.

But I still don't know where "bwaaaahaahaa" comes from or exactly what it means.

“bwaaaahaahaa” is an ominous, sinister and or accentuated laugh....kind’a. ;o)

Yea, but I am convinced that it owe's its current popularity to some brattish character in a movie or TV show.

Could almost be Bart Simpson but seems a little too dark for Bart.

Everybody knows who says this, but you are all in a conspiracy not to tell me. Well, BWAAAAAHAAAHAAA, to all of you! (Actually, I find it rather irritating, which I think is the point. But until I hear/see the character who made it famous, I will never truly get it. It would be like trying to explain "Doah!" to somebody who had never seen Homer Simpson in an exasperated moment.)
