Good evening!
In another major address this week, President Obama will outline further economic plans: to cut the federal deficit in half over the course of his first term, to raise taxes on "the wealthiest" Americans, winding down the war in Iraq, and it's reported, raising business taxes.
The Republicans in Congress will have their work cut out for them to oppose tax increases in a time of business downturn, but it needs to be done, and they need our help to oppose the increases.
Continue to make calls, emails, talk to everyday folks you know.

Yup, Snarlin’, 2/3rds has the right of it. I wake up close to 1300CST, actually between 1300 and 1500, it varies.
So, a lot of your afternoon and evening are my early morning.
Doing well here—except for the great worry for our country. Our weather has been mid-40’s during the day, 20’s at night-cloudy with some sun breaks. Wet snow shower or two every now and then, but gone right away. Mostly, the snow has melted around here in the valley where I live from the huge snow we had back the end of December. Gosh, I sound like I was reporting the weather on the tv!
I’ll have to look for them the next opportunity. It really surprised me that we could see the Big Dipper. We even can see the Little Dipper some nights and at the right time, a hint of the North Star (since it isn’t directly exactly about the pole). Perhaps a little farther south and those wouldn’t be visible to us, I’m not sure. It took me a little while to get oriented to the sky here. I was expecting some things but most of what was on the horizon in Alabama is in the middle of the sky here.
Having lost track of the story for some weeks, I believe I’m reading that it doesn’t look great for Coleman to remain in the MN seat.

I wish they had brought the equipment yesterday. Plus, I would have taken y’all ALL out to dinner here last night. It didn’t happen, so the dinner isn’t going to happen.
I agree with you about Coleman. It seems his lawyer made some very serious disclosure mistakes.
We have to stay filled with the Holy Spirit and hang on! That’s all I can say.
I think Coleman’s attorney is Ben Ginsburg of Gore vs Bush fame.
That pretty close to what we did have for dinner, on our first Lenten Friday.
Hi Jemian! Bummer about the Intenet Server Problems. So new equipment would have gotten us all dinner, huh. Really a ‘bummer’ all the way around. Seriously, hope you can get it all fixed up soon so the freeping isn’t so slow.
Wonderful report. I see others reporting in......St. Louis had 1,500 after the news gurus said they’d probably have 100. Ha! Then they went down and threw tea in the Mississippi. (Hope I’m not wrong about the location. I read about several gatherings.)

Oh, what good-looking snacks! I made soup today using part of a chicken carcass. I forget which of you talked about that a few days ago but what a difference in flavor from just-vegetables soup. Yum!
