We don’t tow, we either drive the RV around or rent a car. I’m the driver and haven’t had a lick of trouble driving it around; it’s only 24’.

I’ll see if I can get some interior shots to show you soon.

Happy trails to you. Have fun and be safe.

Yes, I'd like to see the inside.

I am impressed that you are the driver. Not that a woman can't drive an RV as well as a man, of course. I'm just a chicken and refuse to drive the truck with or without the 5th wheel attached. I'm just not that adventurous. But 24 ft. isn't all that big. I think our 5th wheel is just a little over 25 ft, then there is the additional length of the truck that is pulling it. Too big for me to deal with.

Besides, my husband does a great job towing it and parking it, so I'll let it be his job. Backing up a 5th wheel is an education in itself.

A lifelong pursuit has been driving and riding whatever I can given the opportunity. One was an interstate bus for a couple thousand mostly highway miles. Backing up a trailer is the hardest driving thing I've ever done. It's another world.

24 feet is only twice the length of your average car. The motorhome just doesn't corner as well. ;^)

Well, my hat is off to you, LJ. Good for you. I shouldn’t be such a wimp when it comes doing new things, but I am a bit old to change now. I believe the die is cast. LOL

I have now read HS3200, the entire health bill (1,017 pages), and I can honestly say that I have never read a more frightening document!

The government will have complete access to your private bank information, will tell you and your government doctor what treatment if any you get, and you WILL be denied treatment if you’re over 65 and if you have certain health conditions. End of life may even be decided for you and by a political appointee, not even a doctor!

Seriously folks, if they vote this in, this single document and the law it will bring to power strips you of ALL rights!
If any doubt this, PM me and I would be happy to email you a PDF file of the entire bill for your own study.

We have until they get back from their ‘vacations’ to change a few minds, or we lose America, our rights and more then we can afford! And the political and power types will NOT be living under this system!

If we do nothing, they will makes us slaves, and without a fight! Please do something, call, attend protest meetings, go sit in the office of these political types, work to get them out of office, do something, or it will be too late. Two weeks max before they vote to forever change America and make it a place with no hope!

You’re probably right, my first car at 9 and first elephant ride at 11 sparked my interest.

A Sabbath day spent in silent praise is a joy true
shared in joyous respect for all the Lord will do
Make this Saturday one of honest appreciation dear
and bring His peace in to banish all pain and fear

Hey all!

Sure have missed you guys! I have no idea where the time goes!

Can’t believe baby Carter is already 2 months old! He’s holding his head up and smiling and cooing. They’re still living with us, so I have a houseful, but I love it.

Yorkie—sorry to take so long to get back to you! For shade, you might try lobelia, begonias, impatiens, coleus, ferns and a bunch of other things I can’t remember right now.

Thanks for all the pings, y’all, and my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. :)

Oh, thanks, GG! I think I’m going to go with begonias - as the others are too fragile for my ‘purple’ thumb. LOL!

Isn’t it wonderful having a baby in the house with you? Pretty soon, he’ll be giggling and that will put smiles on everyone’s face that will last all day!

Things should start slowing down for you by the end of the month at the shop, right?

Please come back when you can - we miss you!

I like begonias. You going to go with regular ones or the angel wings? They’re both pretty, but the angel wings get bigger, if that makes any difference.

We are so busy!! Not a bad thing. :) Collard season is about to be in full swing, so we’re sowing like crazy. Also broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, bak choi. Still way too hot for spinach and lettuce but we’ll try some in another couple of weeks and see how it does.

Pansy plugs will start coming in around the first of Sept. After Sept/Oct it will slow down so much we’ll be sitting around staring at each other. But we need a break—we’ll start planting cabbage again around Thanksgiving. :)
