Actually, eyewitness accounts are not circumstantial evidence but direct evidence.
What is pathetic is your effort to impeach these witnesses with nothing more than an insult--"a couple of retired military guys who believe in UFO's." No logic, nothing close to critical or empirical thought...just a sloppy little insult.
While it is obvious on the face of it that you are pressing a deeply held prejudicial opinion instead of being willing to consider evidence--any evidence--these men just presented the facts (corroborated evidence in many cases) of what they had witnessed and drew no conclusions as to what it was.
Of course, if you had watched the video before engaging mouth, you would have known that.
There is still one thing gnawing at me however...and I am certain you know the answer.
Why were the rabbis like Nachmanides, Rashi, and Rashbi (Simeon ben Jochai of the "curse") against Enoch? Was it the mention of The Elect One or the talk of Fallen Angels, etc. or both or even something else?
Because the object you saw may have been similar or identical to the ones people have reported seeing in the 1800s...
Today, it could be our own technology...But it certainly wasn't back then...

LOL I have wanted to take a minute to read it, but have been busy circling all the pronouns in 1 Cor. I loved CS Lewis’ space trilogy.
My conclusions: Over 100 of our best and brightest Military are either telling the truth about events they witnessed or engaged in a lie.
If they are telling the truth, the events relate the operation of physically detectable, radar, visual, electronically interactive devices of some type operating in what appears to be under intelligent control outside of our capabilities. Said device is capable of disabling nuke missile control system in a manner that allows them to be restored to active status. While that controlling intelligence allowed it to be observed, which indicated no desire to be undetected, it has not landed on the White House lawn and asked to be taken to our leader. They do not appear to be a direct threat to us, nor do they appear to be interested in revealing themselves in an undeniable manner. If they are eating us, they do not seem to be so numerous as to be much of a problem. They are not saving us from ourselves so they are not liberals or missionaries. Not much we can do about them other that try not to upset them too much. Until they initiate more direct interaction, there seems to be not much we could do. So wait and see. If and when they reveal themselves in an undeniable manner (to most), they will be seen as demons, angels, aliens, or whatever else individuals decide they are to retain their belief system.
If they are lying, they are part of some super secret New World Order to set up the conditions for aliens (liberals) to take over the world. Them, we can handle.
So, IMHO, you'd be missing a lot by using only the Charles translation. That said, I have not yet read the 2004 translations. They may be even better than Isaac's but the great advantage of Charlesworth's is that Enoch is set in context with many other ancient manuscripts which were informative in their day. Among these are Enoch II and Enoch III.
By the way, Bible scholars work on the presumption that prophesy cannot occur. Thus when they find a reference to a verifiable bit of history, they date the manuscript after that date.
They did that with the book of Enoch which they presumed was written after Herod because it evidently referred to him and more importantly, to Jesus Christ. The view is clear in Laurence's translation.
Then they found Enoch in the Dead Sea Scrolls and - lo and behold - fragments of copies of the book carbon-dated as far back as 200 B.C. (No telling how old the original was.)
In sum, Enoch has been inconvenient to many and for different reasons.
Although it is quoted directly and indirectly in the New Testament, which would normally result in a book being added to the canon, the Church found the apocalyptic references intolerable at the time.
To the Jews, even though Enoch was in wide currency before Christ was enfleshed, to continue to embrace the manuscript would require accepting Christ as the Messiah which would disagree with what the sages believed the Messiah should be like.
To the Bible scholars of the present age, the book makes their secular approach to ancient manuscripts - as if they wanted to be seen as scientists, methodological naturalists - foolish.
Many of us are of the opinion that the huge triangles are ours ... possibly air versions of helo carriers.
Seems to me to be some fairly qualified, straight-edge, non-kooky Air Force officers who experienced unusual things that were simply un-explainable in the common vernacular. Whether these experiences were the result of earthbound or alien actions, who knows? But I have an open mind about these things.

I lumped a lot of y’all into one ping . . . from that long RC thread . . . many had been extremely derisive on the topic.
I thought the responses of those with that kind of perspective/attitude to the Press Conference at the National Press Club with the high ranking military experiencers and whistleblowers would at least be interesting, if not educational.
And the military officers’ experiences are interesting merely as stories. So I didn’t think I was asking an onerous unpleasant thing. There’s also the chance that some of y’all might learn something beneficial, useful.
