Levin, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, others to leave a Legacy of COWARDICE
VANITY

Posted on 02/19/2012 3:57:01 AM PST by Chance Hart

First off, I am a conservative and have spent countless hours listening to and reading the books of all these men. Reading Levin's Liberty and Tyranny was compelling, as were many of the publications of these Patriots. With the VAST amount of Constitutional research accumulated in order to write these best sellers, there is and has always has been one important fact known to ALL these men to be a Constitutional FACT missing. That non negotiable FACT is that according to the Constitution, Barack Hussein Obama is NOT eligible to be placed on the ballot, let alone occupy his present position as President of the United States of America! Obama himself touts the fact that his father was a British Subject at the time of his “BHO 2’s” birth, making him at the very least a duel citizen and not eligible to hold the office as president. Furthermore, Daddy was NEVER a citizen of the United States, again making Jr. ineligible with that fact alone. None of these men (as far as I know) served in the military for whatever reason and I think there may be some suppressed guilt because of that when I hear their accolades regarding current and former Men of Honor. As they refer to many of their callers and guests as “Brother”, they at the same time have never felt compelled to commit the heroic act of jumping on a Firecracker, let alone a Grenade to help save their “Brothers” and in the end help save this Nation. Levin is the one that has disappointed me the most when I heard him disenfranchise many of his loyal listeners on Jan 19th, 2010 (may have been the 20th) by referring to those that even questioned the eligibility issue as (paraphrasing) ignorant and foolish. He followed that comment by saying that Obama was of course eligible to be President. He, in my opinion is an expert on the Constitution and knows full well that his statement was an out and out lie. When the truth finally reveals itself, I can almost hear the excuses from these Less than Honorable radio and TV Patriots now – 1. I was given strict orders from station bosses not to bring up or allow discussion on the eligibility issue and to refer to those that do bring it up as ignorant Birthers. 2. Yes, I of course knew the simple truth, but decided it was the wrong approach to be honest when the proper way to handle this was at the Ballot Box. 3. Book sales were BOOMING and I was too GUTLESS to show the Courage that I ask my listeners to display on a daily basis. 4. There are a few in the business that are standing their ground on this issue and Liberals are calling them names. Sticks and Stones will break my Bones and even Words would really hurt me because I AM A COWARD! By the way, there are thousands of these Cowards walking the halls of Congress and other places that have at least to this point failed to MAN UP. All this makes me admire all the more the few that in their heart really do trust God Almighty and FEAR NO EVIL.

How do we know it will be a landslide.
It should be a landslide.
But the elites cheat!

Maybe we need to employ a person outside of each polling place to have us sign a petition that we voted against 0.

So when there is evidence of millions of votes against 0
when they will say he won we will have proof....

... but they have been threatened on this issue. Levin probably had the life of his dog threatened.

Threatened by whom?

What about all the people who have fought and died for our way of life, our Constitution? How many died on the beaches of Normandy and remote South Pacific islands? Is that all for naught?

Levin, Limbaugh, Hannity and Ingraham all dropped the ball. Just think if this had been handled up front, prior to the 2008 election, maybe we would not have been subject to the past three years of Obozo.

Oh, but excuse me, they have a job to protect. Puhleese!

However i have believed all along that these talk show hosts are going to look out for them selves first and i have heard both Hannity, Limbaugh and beck all contradict what they teach,

I have decided that i need to explain my comment, i am not bashing the talk show hosts, i was simply saying that they are bound to make mistakes because they are human, they also believe in different things than i do, for instance i do not believe Hannity would have any thing against a police state as long as the laws went along with his values, while i do not want a police state, christian or otherwise, period.

As far as this illegal alien as president is concerned, maybe the talk show hosts really feel it is best not to put them selves in jeopardy, after all Obama is President because the so called conservatives must not have listened to the talk show hosts in the first place.

It is one thing to try to save some one who wants to be saved, but if they really don,t give a dam why put yourself in jeopardy to save them?

...just because the court cases have not got off the ground means there are no good convincing argument!

Your point is well taken. Courts should be able to deal with all sorts of complicated legal arguments that surround this issue.

However, I was looking at it from the point of view of the "court of public opinion". The public doesn't do well with complicated legal arguments. The arguments for ineligibility need to be simple and convincing. They aren't, and that's why this doesn't fly.

That statement should scare the hell out of any true conservative. Giving in on any front is giving in period. That’s what happened in the 60s when prayer was take out of schools. It’s what happened when Roe v Wade became law.

Seems, based on history, there is no mechanism to remove filth like our president or the political scum on the USSC
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There are more than three balances of power ( congress, the administration, the courts). There are really **six**! The other three are:

** Honest elections and the people's will to elect competent and honest representatives.
**The military and their loyalty and oath to defend the Constitution.
** The Second Amendment.

As for the military, I am very disappointed in the handful of the very highest military. Is this how they watch the backs of our brave and honorable troops who serve below them? When did ignoring identity theft, multiple social security numbers, posting of forged birth documents, usurpation of a military command, and lying become part of the military code of honor and oath to defend the Constitution? Is this what they teach now at our military academies?

Where is the evidence that these very highest perfumed peacocks peacefully and legally asked congress or the courts for clarification of the Commander's in Chief eligibility? Instead, they have made the lives of those lower level officers, who dared to question Obama’s eligibility, a living hell.

Our brave and honorable troops deserve better. They **deserve** to have a legitimate, natural born citizen and Commander in Chief whose loyalty is strictly to them and our nation.

I pray to God every day that our nation's citizens will wake up, finally, and begin to vote for honest and competent representatives. Why? Because, congress and the courts have refused to defend the Constitution, and the handful of our very highest military value their perks and pensions more than their oath before God or their military code of honor. If the elections will not turn this nation around that leaves the Second Amendment. I **seriously** pray that will never be necessary.

Everyone has their own battles to fight. If this is the battle you want to fight, you fight it. Don’t expect others to fight it for you.

Do you think that maybe they didn’t go down this path because there are so many jokers and pranksters messing with it, it is hard to tell real from fiction? Think about all the phony ‘Kenyan Birth Certificates’ or stories thrown on the public as a joke (example, the red background one that was a joke Something Awful that is still going around).

They fight the battles they choose, you fight the battle you choose.

But until a keyboard warrior does a fraction of what they do, I would suggest holding off on calling them a coward. It reminds me of the guy sitting in front of his TV with the game on who ‘knows more than the coach’ (sic).

” Jan 19th, 2010 (may have been the 20th) by referring to those that even questioned the eligibility issue as (paraphrasing) ignorant and foolish.”

I listen to Mark Levin every day, and he never said this. Produce evidence or quit misrepresenting Mark.

He has explained why HE does not beat the issue to death, and it is because, in his estimation, it will not remove Obama from office.

He NEVER said the issue was unimportant or that those who believe it is important are fools.

And if you can suggest better spokesmen and advocates for conservatism than Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh, please do. Put up or shut up.

“Less than Honorable”????

You are a little hysterical there.

I am Beginning to conclude one of the reasons Obama was chosen is because he is ineligible. It helps undermined our constitution and usher in the NWO, or as they have relabeled it - global goverence.

It also sets a precedent of making this void in the future.

There is great power behind him in order to scrub and keep his background hidden.

It helps explain many things that are lawless with this administration.

Breitbart on why the media tends to ignore Fast and Furious

...Fast and Furious happened, Breitbart explained, “for the purposes of creating a narrative that they could use in America to try and thwart our Second Amendment constitutional rights. I don’t think the most sinister screenwriter could imagine a government that would abide by that, let alone the media to cover that up.”

-- The arguments for ineligibility need to be simple and convincing. --

The arguments are pretty simple, until case law language is cherry-picked.

The intention of the clause in the constitution is to limit the presidency to those who have undivided loyalty, from birth, to the US. There is a risk inherent in giving the presidency to a person having dual or divided citizenship.

The prevailing legal "wisdom" is that a child born in the US, to two non-citizen parents, who is raised in a foreign country by those foreigners, is a natural born citizen. The logic is that the ONLY factor that matters is location of birth. This, they say, is what the Constitution intends by the words "natural born citizen." The allegiance and citizenship of the parents is irrelevant, according to the prevailing legal "wisdom."

There is a possibility that you have not considered.

All of the figures that you mention have looked into it, thought about it critically, weighed the “evidence” and decided that there is nothing to it.

The way to get rid of Obama is the old fashioned way- vote him out. If we can't do this, and the country actually wants this guy, the problem is a lot bigger than Obama and where his father was born. The problem is that the populous is irreversibly lost.

“...just curious, why would you dismiss the court cases sited to back up two parent NBC”

There are not any. Minor said two parent NBC was agreed, but that others had a broader definition, and that they would not try to settle it.

The problem is that, at the time of the approval of the Constitution, NO ONE had suggested two citizen parents were a requirement. All the law prior used the phrase ‘natural born subject’ - and that phrase was used interchangeably with natural born citizen for at least a few years after the Constitution.

All agree that the definition of natural born subject included those born to alien parents. The first suggestion otherwise appeared in a poor translation of Vattel 10 year AFTER the Constitution, when ‘indigenes’ was translated ‘natural born citizen’ - although indigenes is an English word as well as French, with the same meaning in both languages.

The WKA decision has a long discussion of the meaning of NBC, and birth citizenship. While many here dislike the decision, it certainly has been an influential one. It won’t be overturned by people who ignore what it says. You can read the full text here:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/historics/USSC_CR_0169_0649_ZO.html

“It doesn’t help that birthers on this thread have made dishonest statements that they know are dishonest.” / “Care to list them? Just a few, maybe.”

Sure. In post 16, Spaulding wrote, “Of course all of our Senators signed SR511 in April 2008, all acknowledging that a natural born citizen is born to two citizen parents (though the testimony showed some sophistry by never citing Supreme Court cases and by citing the 1790 Nationality Act without noting that it was entirely replaced with no mention of natural born citizenship.”

Now, what Spaulding knows - because it has been pointed out to him many times - is that SR511 dealt with children born overseas to American parents. He pretends it means that all NBC require two citizen parents, even tho he knows that was not the subject of SR511. That is dishonest. Nothing in SR511 in any way applied to those born in the USA.

Frankly, there is a stronger case for Obama being a natural born citizen than there was for McCain. There has been legal doubt all along concerning those born to US citizens abroad. The confusion caused by the mistranslation of Vattel in 1797 was settled by the WKA decision in the 1890s, but the case for McCain is weaker.

Rush has slyly hinted at it (not eligible) but not often. They have been warned off. Even palin pooh poohed the issue.

Well, i am not sure what i would do, as one can never
be sure what they would do if given a different situation.

I do not have to worry too much about some one slandering my reputation because i do not know that it is very good to begin with,

and i do not have millions in my bank account so they would not be able to take much from me on those points so that makes me pretty brave.

And also i have to wonder if they do not know any more than the rest of us, but considering the fact that they do not say what we think they should say makes me wonder if they know so much that it literally scares the hell out of them even more than we think.

Your thoughts are as good as mine.

Maybe all these “cowards” know that the end result of unleashing a “constitutional crisis” of this magnitude might not be the best thing for the country since the usurper in office is almost gone....and it might not be worth whatever forces are unleashed....there is a serious under current of unrest in this country just waiting for a reason to cause mayhem

I’m not the smartest guy in the room but I would bet a lot of money..... The country would be FAR worst off if the birther movement actually achieved it’s goal.... Even though I agree Zero is not eligible

I've got my copy of the Constitution her in my den and upon reading it, I can't find the definition of natural born citizen {which I assume is the FACT that you refer to}.

There have been several SC cases but no solid definition of natural born citizen that eliminates a person that is born on US soil from being a natural born citizen.

Your FACTS are at best opinions and in dispute, so maybe you should tread a little lightly on the COWARD bit.

He did not ignore that argument, but he rejected it - based on the WKA decision & Ankeny. Had he done otherwise, he would have been promptly overturned as an incompetent judge for ignoring the law.

I bet there is no definition of the word “is” either.

If lawyers were to write the Constitution today it would be in fine print and the size of the IRS code.

Fundamentally....Our success as an experiment in self-rule depends upon the good will and honesty of the citizens and their representatives. Finely crafted Constitutions with mountains of defined terms will **NOT** save this nation. If the people are evil tyranny will follow.

I was given strict orders from station bosses not to bring up or allow discussion on the eligibility issue and to refer to those that do bring it up as ignorant Birthers.

I think it is noteworthy the C.S.Hannity was scheduled to conduct the first on-air interview with Where's the Birth Certificate author Jerome Corsi following the book's release. My understanding is that this interview had been scheduled several months prior and that C.S.Hannity canceled it only a few hours before it was to have occurred.

So the first interview fell to Steve Malzberg who USED to be on opposite C.S.Hannity on WOR-AM in NYC, and who had a bigger NYC audience than C.S.Hannity. Radio stations don't just give up the largest drive time audience in their market. They just don't. But Malzberg would speak openly and honestly about the birth certificate issue, until he was dropped.

(BTW, the "C" stands for "Chicken.")

I won,t argue the point, but it is not Levin, Limbaugh or Hannity that is running the country, it is the people in all capacities of government.

It is supposed to be a government by the PEOPLE so it is not up to the talk show hosts to tell us anything, it is not up to the politicians to tell us anything, it is up to us to go vote using a little common sense rather than voting for every thing that sounds good or makes us seem like a gooood citizen.

Not being argumentative just saying that we the people only have our selves to blame because we have had some chances to straighten some of this out but every time some one runs for public office with the agenda of stopping some of this socialism crap they are dubed anarchist by the socialist left, and the conservatives fall for it hook, line and sinker.

I refuse to listen to them or watch them.

They are COWARDS and PHONIES, and they make me sick.

I apologize. I should have written, “It doesn’t help that [a birther] on this thread ha[s] made [a] dishonest statement that [he] know[s] [is] dishonest.”

Hey, you are a stand up guy. Just what I would expect from a FReeper.

Remember the old adage, "If you have to exaggerate a point, you probably didn't have much of a point".

I understand that birthers reject that idea. But at a bare minimum, all ought to be able to agree that honest people can look at the evidence and disagree with the idea that two citizen parents are required.

-- He did not ignore that argument, but he rejected it - based on the WKA decision & Ankeny. Had he done otherwise, he would have been promptly overturned as an incompetent judge for ignoring the law. --

Which is it? There is room for honest disagreement, or disagreeing with the position you advocate represents incompetence and ignorance?

The Constitution gives us only two ways to remove a president from office. 1). Vote hime out and 2). Impeachment. Fox news and radio talk show hosts aren’t mentioned.

You can try to pressure your representative and/or you can work like hell to get him voted out.

-- Consider adding a seventh: Right to a Trial by Jury. --

That one has been watered down too. No right to trial by jury on quite a few exceptions.

Mr. Rogers criticism of Spaulding is pretty weak tea. Spaulding’s offense was not phrasing the remark in a way that suited Rogers. I’m sure Spaulding knows that SR511 was limited to the facts of McCain’s birth; and without saying so, those facts do not apply to the circumstances of Obama’s birth. The Senate has yet to say that a child who is a dual citizen at birth, due to citizenship of one or more parent; or location of birth; is also a natural born citizen.

Who did the memo come from, when and have you seen it?

Figure of speech ...
As far as calling conservative talk radio hosts spineless I stand 100% behind my opinion of them ... each & every one. They are remaining mum on the Obummmer eligibility issue which easily has the potential to be the biggest fraud foisted on the citizens of this country by the liberal MSM and the Washington power brokers ... ever.

Chance Hart (and able side kick central_va),

Nice post on an important issue. I consider both Limbaugh and Levin to be among the small group of my personal heroes. They are not perfect (who of us are?) but they are far from being cowards. There is so much to do countering the progressive/socialist/statist agendas that they are focusing on areas that THEY have chosen as potentially most productive use of THEIR time and energies.

There are “lesser gods” in the conservative, liberty-loving pantheon who HAVE chosen to focus much of THEIR time and energy on the Natural Born Citizen issue. And I commend these folks for their efforts. To the extent I am able, I have tried to provide some financial assistance to their noble efforts. And I would encourage fellow conservatives to do the same.

I do feel antipathy toward the folks who are clearly on a JIHAD against anyone who want to challenge or support a challenge of Obama eligibility under the Natural Born Citizen requirement for the US Presidency. A long time ago my Dad told me that I should “be careful, all people are not who or what they say they are”. That admonition has stuck with me to this day and paying careful attention to it has helped me avoid some potential bad outcomes in my personal life. And seeing some of the postings of these anti-NBC requirement jihadists raises a red flag for me. What motivates these regularly appearing “usual suspects” to expend so much energy & time trying to derail any discussion or activity related to this issue? Things that make you go Hmmmm.

Obama and his minions are fighting this with every thing they have because they know if it ever breaks lose, he’s going down — and a lot of people are going to go down with him.

I used to feel the same way, but have since given up. For all the bluster and pontificating about “The Constitution” we live in a lawless land..nothing will ever happen to obama or pelosi et,al...nothing. Rush and the rest know it, and so should you. I gave up when willie clinton walked..it’s over and in the end..we will get what we deserve.
