Open Note To Askel5 from Laz
9/26/2012 | By Laz A. Mataz

Posted on 09/26/2012 6:42:06 AM PDT by Lazamataz

Dear Askel5,

For many years, I thought you were a bit of a nut. A very INTELLIGENT nut, but a nut nonetheless. Your constant harping about Gramscian politics was, to my mind, weird a little paranoid.

It turns out you were one hundred percent right. The move to destroy America has been very below-the-surface, highly organized, and extremely effective ... and the model has been, indeed, Antonio Gramsci's.

From the work Notes on Saul Alinsky and Neo-Marxism:

Remember that the primary influence for Obama's strategy comes from Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." With that in mind..."Alinsky's tactics were based, not on Stalin's revolutionary violence, but on the Neo-Marxist strategies of Antonio Gramsci, an Italian Communist. Relying on gradualism, infiltration and the dialectic process rather than a bloody revolution, Gramsci's transformational Marxism was so subtle that few even noticed the deliberate changes.

Like Alinsky, Mikhail Gorbachev followed Gramsci, not Lenin. In fact, Gramsci aroused Stalins's wrath by suggesting that Lenin's revolutionary plan wouldn't work in the West. Instead the primary assault would be on Biblical absolutes and Christian values, which must be crushed as a social force before the new face of Communism could rise and flourish. Malachi Martin gave us a progress report:

"By 1985, the influence of traditional Christian philosophy in the West was weak and negligible.... Gramsci's master strategy was now feasible. Humanly speaking, it was no longer too tall an order to strip large majorities of men and women in the West of those last vestiges that remained to them of Christianity's transcendent God."

This excerpt is the bread-and-meat section that tells me that you were prescient and well-versed in the tactics of our enemy. If there is any excuse on my part, I have only one: That which Matt Bracken refers to as the 'normality bias'. I am biased, as are most, to believe things will 'stay normal' and to discount sweeping conspiracies.

But I have awoken. Is it too late, I do not know. Can one man make a difference, I am unsure. Will it get much worse in America, absolutely.

So, this is an open letter to you to acknowledge my being incorrect, you being correct, and to ask you what a nation does to unwind this horrifying and seemingly inexorable push to Marxist/Fascist control.

Yours,

Laz

Why is she back? Did someone buy the poor bright thang a used computer so she can plagiarize 90 percent of anything she writes?

Beware, ShadowAce.

Love your #184 post, Laz!

I still have no respect for your puffed up, arrogant, condescending opinion. Griffin is no guru, but I certainly respect what he has said more than anything you’ve written. You sound jealous that he has recognition by some ... or is that your job, to throw water on the theories that the fed is a corrupt oligarchical cabal?

Thanks for the info, TOL. I usually load up on C at the earliest hint and rarely get sick or a cold. “C” is amazing. I was late this time and was a little run down from a difficult work schedule.

Good to see you back Askel5! Great thread. Lots of good posts/advice

I miss those days too, no doubt. Maybe KC could connive us all into meeting Midway one day. Having done four years in Leavenworth, I know for a fact the bridge proudly proclaimed to all coming in from Missouri: Welcome to Midway, USA!

If you guys still hang out, give everyone my best.

Very eye opening on the communist goals.

Putin is probably snickering, and saying..... "They just thought they won the cold war."

Okay. I had, as I related to ya, a big Production issue at the place at which I work, so I was only lightly available the lasy 36 hours.... but, I am back.

Give me your best advice on where I should post red meat for you with the understanding that (1) I’m not interested in elections; (2) I am always happy to back up with facts or at least a solid thesis whatever I post on the fly; and (3) I too am more interested in the spiritual and philosophical battle at the heart of all affairs concerning human hearts and conscience but don’t wish to be relegated to the Religion forum as a result

I guess what I'm looking for is solutions to the Gramscian gradualism to liberalism, communism, and immorality we find ourselves in.

Whatever forum you think is appropriate, and whatever you can offer, would be the way to go. I guess we're brainstorming.

Re: Bbmwcyle: PS — Um, did you know you have cycle spelled wrong?

Curiously, I recall seeing someone mention that way back in 2001 or 2002. I don't remember if bmwcyle said it was a mistake or on purpose, but I do recall the original observer quite amused at how our eyes complete imperfect words.

Hi, Askel5 - good to see you here again. Glad you like my moniker. You're one of the few to appreciate the fact that I adopted it in the tongue-in-cheek spirit of Ambrose Bierce's definition. I do miss the level of discourse that we once enjoyed here. Some of us really got the import and the implications of the destructive Gramscian meme, but as time went on, it seemed to me that there was a larger game afoot. Not one buried in the fever swamps of conspiricists imaginations, but one that seemed to point to something that had its foundation in the darker side of human nature. Thus, my first take on what that might be. As a first approximation, this little essay, " Killers Without Conscience - 2010 got a lot of the fundamentals right. The entire thread contains some worthy discussion of the sort we used to enjoy here. The ideas found in that one are further developed here: Don't Converge the Streams

Your observations and opinions would be highly valued.

Regards - Ward

Putin is probably snickering, and saying: "They just thought they won the cold war."

Absolutely laughing his butt off...

If Russia were truly done with Communism and are now “Capitalists”, why would they still support Marxist dictatorships such as Venezuela, Cuba, other far left regimes throughout Latin America, the ChiComs and North Korea? Their criticisms of Obama being a Socialist are bogus. If they really are now opposed to Socialism/Communism they would join us (pre-Obama) in condemning these regimes, not help build them up.

Did Communism Fake Its Own Death in 1991?
American Thinker ^ | January 16, 2010 | Jason McNew

In a [] 1984 book [New Lies for Old], ex-KGB Major Anatoliy Golitsyn predicted the liberalization of the Soviet Bloc and claimed that it would be a strategic deception. ..."

"Golitsyn's argument was that beginning in about 1960, the Soviet Union embarked on a strategy of massive long-range strategic deception which would span several decades and result in the destruction of Western capitalism and the erection of a communist world government."

"Golitsyn published his second book, The Perestroika Deception, after the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991. This book contained further analysis of the liberalization, in addition to previously classified memoranda submitted by Golitsyn to the CIA. The two books must be read together to get a complete picture of Golitsyn's thesis."

KGB Putin thinks the "COLLAPSE" of the mass-murdering communist Soviet Union was the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th Century"

"the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the [20th] century" -Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the collapse of the Soviet Union...
"World democratic opinion has yet to realize the alarming implications of President Vladimir Putin's State of the Union speech on April 25, 2005, in which he said that the collapse of the Soviet Union represented the 'greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.'
