Mike is on to something mighty interesting. Nowhere, and I mean nowhere, has anyone noted the corellation [sic] between the the two early Mayan “Baktun” transitions and spikes in ice core chemistry from Greenland. Calendrical genius that he is, Mike even reverse engineers the data and finds the Mayan calendar -- baring [sic] incredible coincidence -- serves to memorialize the two events -- as well as perpetuate a useful chime for the future.
It is hard to grasp given his sparse abstract, but if I understand Mike correctly, he infers that the Maya calendar writer, long after the two extraordinary events, divided his calendar so that the first event would mark the end of an inaugural cycle, representing a number of days which if repeated four more times would coincide with the 2nd event. These five cycles were then followed in the calendar by an additional eight cycles of equal periods reaching to our own time.
It would be as if you were amazed at the appearance of Santa Claus, began counting the days since you saw him, was startled by his return, and later decided these visits were so significant that your calendar itself should be divided so as to determine good times to look out for the jolly old fellow.

That aside, the Mayans were accomplished astronomers. That there might have been some object such as a comet or asteroid behind their long count calendar was the only possibility that gave me pause about the whole thing.
So, Mr. Howard may have a point, but we're less than two weeks out, such an object would be observable well before now, I should think.
I had a dream the other night that the global warming and cooling cycles are a function of the alignment of the earth’s magnetic core axis and the geographic axis of the earth’s crust. The dynamo effect creating the electromagnetic field and the related magnetosphere strength is greater when the axis are in greater opposition.
Right now, the magnetic north axis has accelerated its rate of travel across Canada toward Siberia. In this journey it is crossing near the geographic north pole creating a planetary axis alignment that decreases dynamo output and results in a decrease in our earth’s gravitational field and magnetosphere.
At the same time, the decrease in friction and resulting output of the dynamo created as the two axis align allows the earth to be vulnerable to solar energy ejections as the magnetosphere weakens. This creates an increase in fluctuation of climate on earth and is the reason the magnetic north pole or core axis wobbles on a daily basis, correlating to solar activity.
What I saw was a pattern of pole travel that looked like a Spirograph pattern around the geographic axis.
It was a long dream and what I shared barely scratches the surface of what I learned. I do not have a background in geophysics and found the whole vision fascinating.
The unusual event is that the earth’s axis alignment and weak magnetosphere is occurring at solar max when the sun is reversing its polarity.

It's hard to believe that you really did dream all of that. As fantastic as most of it sounds, it still seems much too coherent to have been a dream. Are you sure that you aren't "cleaning it up" and embellishing it after the fact? Are you perhaps interlarding your dream-narrative with a lot of post-dream speculation and Internet research?
Are you saying that you think that your dream might, in fact, contain genuine insights and possibly be of any interest to bona-fide geophysicists? Since you state that you are only a layperson, how can you explain your having a dream with this kind of content? In other words: Why should your subconscious be saturated with this topic? Are you implying some sort of prophetic revelation or supernatural intervention?

I have always had the ability to think of a question, go to bed and wake up with the answer. It was unusual as I usually do not remember my dreams, but in this instance, it was very vivid and specific.
I already knew that the magnetic north pole was traveling across Canada and that the earth was losing its dipolar field strength. I had no idea why. I was asking the question, “What is all this earth change hoopla all about?”
I had another dream a few weeks ago after reading a paper on Einstein. In the dream I was at Disneyland and watching a ride. The lines to get on the ride were long so they could not stop the ride. Instead, they had a conveyor that people walked onto and it sped them up to the same speed as the ride. Thus the people got on and off the moving ride as though it was standing still.
It was like an epiphany as they then explained to me that this is why Einstein was wrong. Time is not just a function of the speed of light. It is a function of the relationship between the operational frequency of consciousness divided by the speed of light!
Thus as you increase the operational frequency of consciousness to the speed of light, time stands still, just as the ride at Disneyland. This is what creates the time distortion for people who meditate and why the Bible tells that one day in heaven is as a thousand here. It’s the reason that Peter quotes the prophet Joel in Acts 2 concerning prophetic abilities appearing in end times.
They went on to explain that the reason for religion was to cleanse the soul field or consciousness in order that any sin or ballast in the field would no longer hold back an increase in operational frequency. Consciousness increases in size at it increases in frequency, thus the capacity for information processing (ram) increases as distance of travel on the circumference increases. Since the axis point is still at the same speed, the speed on the circumference increases to keep the rpm’s the same. This increases processor speed. It the reason why the unlearned men were so wise when the Holy Spirit was in them. All information is available at the higher levels.
As consciousness expands, everything exits within that consciousness and thus the perception is that the time/space continuum collapses. For example, if I am a tree in the forest, that is my perception reference point for all other trees. However if my consciousness expands to include the entire forest, all trees exist within my perception and their is no separation.
As consciousness increases in frequency it moves from wave energy characteristics toward particle energy. Thus I have noticed that people’s low frequency thoughts are physical tangible objects when viewed from a higher frequency perspective. Just as microwave energy heats up a dense object, a high frequency of consciousness is like placing hot coals on the head of an evil person. It’s the reason why the disciples filled with the Holy Spirit were not burned in the fire. This is also the reason the “weeds” will be burned in the end times.
Just as Neils Bohr, the Dutch atomic physicist in 1913 discovered that an electron going from an outer orbital to an inner orbital gives off a photon, consciousness does the same thing. Thus God is always perceived as light. Relationships between souls function as covalent bonds while Divine relationships function as ionic bonds.
After I get a vision, I dig to determine if there is any basis in science for the vision. I’m still working on the earth as a spherical dynamo effecting the gravitational field and magnetosphere information.
One of the problems is, at the time of the vision or dream, it all is so simple and makes absolute sense. When I lower myself to the conscious aware physical body it is much harder to understand what previously was so simple! It takes a while to distill it.
You can’t imagine how many times I asked myself. “Are you nuts???” Scientific investigation is the only way to prove or disprove the answer to that question.
In summary, the whole concept of the spherical dynamo creating the magnetosphere was new to me in the dream. The concept of the axis differential causing differential output was also all new to me. I knew what a dynamo was from the old crank telephones and from working on lawnmower engines.
