The following was my last 2 weeks of conjecture:

THis is my prediction from a week ago:

Here is my vote for the ending ...

Walt returns to Albuquerque to shoot the people at Gray Matter

>>>>>>>>
So this week we get Gray Matter on Charlie Rose.

While anything could happen ...Remember he has guns and ricin....I don’t think it will be nice/Also Walt got shafted by Gray Matter and if he can get them to come across with what he is owed it can legitimately go to his family...

Finally
I think the cancer wins

................................................................

Ok I figured out a bunch of it ahead of time (I am working on being as smart as Walt)

Very well done, but we won’t see the real ending, wherein - after all the cameras were gone, trigger happy APD shot anyone still moving. /s off. Not today since FBI review is ‘in progress...’

Plenty of room for a sequel - JP is still alive and knows the special recipe...

had everything pegged except two things.

first, thought he was gonna kill elliot and gretchen, didnt see them as the vehicle for money to the family.

second, thought that after walt got everyone (save todd who jesse would get in the lab, most likely) that jesse and walt would see each other and take each other out. partially wrong on that one.

so all in all I pretty much wasn’t surprised. sad it’s gone.

I do wish when he was talking to lydia at the end, he would have quipped something like “well, see you soon” instead of just “goodbye”.

Felina is ‘finale’ spelled sideways.

To get an idea what it was about and see if it was worth catching on the net. Any more questions?

I felt the ending left out one of the most evil people in this show, Jesse. I could not help but feeling Jesse portrayed the impotence of our youth. Surrounded and controlled by evil but not willing , able nor courageous enough to accept responsibility for their lives.

Very much enjoyed the ride of breaking bad. There are so few shows that catch my attention, and almost always those shows get canceled in their first season. I really like the shows that have definite endings, rather than go stale. There is another show that did this in the recent past, which was also very well written, very gritty and raw, and at times pretty dark, with many roller coaster twists. So if anybody has not seen it and wants to start another ride of a show that is one I consider of the best written shows ever put on television, the new Battlestar Gallactica is totally on Netflix streaming. If you haven’t seen it, give it a try, I consider it on par with breaking bad, but it is a show that has to be watched in order, can’t skip episodes.

"Why would they be insane enough to end a show with this kind of audience?"

Good Writers know that a good story ends when all the conflict is resolved. Stretching out the story for the sake of money ruins a good story.

AND these writers are not merely good, they are the tiptop of the heap for TV writers. It doesn't get any better.

John Wayne and Alan Hale.

Both were very humble though Alan Hale was a minor celeb he was happy to pose with anyone for a pic with the "Skipper" and even sported his Skipper hat when he was out and about so he could do the Gilligan Hat swat to folks in a pic if they wanted it.

"The episode was called “Felina”. Wasn’t that the name of the female love interest in the Marty Robbins song?"

yes also there is an Easter egg in the title. Its bouncing around the net its multilayer-ed.

After the devastation of the 2nd to last episode, I actually appreciated the comic relief of Badger and that skinny guy serving as fake snipers targeting Elliot and Gretchen.

Anna Gunn and Brian Cranston were perfect in their final scene together. Skyler finally got some honest truth out of Walt, and with all the emotion that played out in that moment, I sensed Skyler’s gratitude for Walt’s honesty. It was such a gorgeous moment.

A very satisfying series finale.

I’ve seen some break down ‘Felina’ in the following way:

Fe = iron = blood
Li = lithium = meth
Na = sodium = tears

Also, Felina is an anagram for Finale.

Blood, Meth & Tears?

Is that the name of a rock band?
