I wish [God] would give him strength, but I dont think he needs strength anymore, Mr. Graham said, to the Christian news site, Assist News Service. Its time to go home.

Dear Lord... please ease the passing of your servant into your kingdom. Please comfort his family at this time. There has been no better representative of your love here on Earth. Please tame the people who might seek to hate at this time. Welcome your servant, Lord, and bring peace to his followers.
Billy Graham was a good man. He will be going to his just reward in heaven, and can then rest in peace.
Praying for a powerful, effective man of the cloth and his family and friends.
why don't we let these people just die quietly like the good Lord intended.....its not like its not supposed to happen...
No human is a shoo-in. Only god knows a man’s heart.
Well.... Graham is a public figure who led many to Christ.
So ... what? You think he may be going to Hell? What’s your point?
Billy Graham had a part in my understanding the gospel and becoming a born again Christian. He helped to plant the seed, others watered but God is who gave the increase. I will be praying for Rev. Graham that his last days are full of painless comfort, peace, joy and that God comforts his family and friends as this blessed man goes to his home in heaven.
“Graham is in his 90’s isn’t he?..so was Mandela.”

That’s right!
Something like that decision making may be happening here. I do not know for sure, and never will know such a factor. Someone with the accumulated wealth of Billy Graham’s family could afford the kind of palliative care that would likely keep him alive for quite some time. Perhaps Mr. Graham has been in this fragile, tangential state since the turn of this century, a good 13.5 years since the 90s. He may simply be ready to leave this present form, and as such, a family decision may have been made to cease extraordinary treatments. This may be why his decline seems so very gradual.
His family has been preparing the public for quite some time.
It is not out of the question that Mr. Graham has already died, and logistically, the family wants to allow a short gap of time between the Mandela Mania and the huge groups of the loyal faithful (from the new world and the old world)who will want to pay their last respects. Both these men were hugely influential, and will remain so, albeit for completely different reasons.
You forgot “racist, terrorist, saboteur and murderer.”
Your story is similar to mine. I was led to the Gospel and saw some of Graham’s online sermons. He is a hero to me and I will not accept ANYONE trying to say anything negative about this man. He has given his entire life to God.
Yo. Lefty’s had a fire!
IIRC he’s been pretty frail for some time, and when folks get that old, just staying alive gets tiring.
God bless him.
That doesn’t seem at ALL .... crazy.
In my opinion, death is not supposed to happen, in that it wouldn't be here if not for the fall of Adam. I truly suspect that is why Jesus cried with Mary at the death of Lazarus, that Jesus grieved over the stark, cruel aspects of the sinfulness of man.
I will mourn for Billy Graham when he dies. There will be pain and sadness for his friends and family.
I will rejoice at the last trumpet because we will be caught up forever with the Lord. There will be no pain and suffering, sorrow and death.
Thank you, Jesus, for your unspeakable gift. The Graham family is in my prayers.
