Why Mavericks? They could of named it Rino and at least kept the animal theme going.

Mavericks are animals behaving a certain way.
Mavericks is a famous beach for surfing that is located by Palo Alto.
They went to “places” - because they were running out of felines ... :-) ...
How long do you suggest one wait Til the bugs are out? Using primarily my MacPro (purchased this past summer)with iPad n iPhone. Eventually want to get back to my iMac
Shouldn’t they have gotten past OS 10 by now?
Yeah, where do you go from Lion? Mavericks seems backwards, downhill........
An unbranded range animal, especially a calf that has become separated from its mother,...........
Where from does this information come?
How about to a Liger or a Tigon ?!?
A LONG way from Palo Alto. It’s over the mountain at the coast at Princeton by the Sea, north of Half Moon Bay. Next to El Granada.
I suspect I’ll be waiting for 10.9.2 or 10.9.3 .
Gee, all the time I lived just South of Palo Alto, I never realized San Francisco Bay had any surf. (just funnin' with ya')
I apologize, I was going to check my sources, but I posted and forgot.
Midwest boy here, sorry. ;), should have checked my sources.
Kind of funny, I upgraded to Mavericks on a couple of my machines. Have a few more but probably wait until later. Kind of sad, Apple didn’t stay with the PPC chip but can see it a good step to go to Intel. I have quite a few machines that is PPC and still use to this day ! Too bad they cannot upgrade the OS beyond 10.5. I wonder where Apple would be at if Steve Jobs was still alive. Hard to believe it has been two years since he died.
Well, compared to Missouri or Kansas, Palo Alto is pretty close to the surf.
It’s working on both my Maverick loaded Macs without issue.
