As a portrait photographer, I am always trying to make people feel comfortable in front of my camera so I can capture a real emotion from them. But what if I was able to make people feel so uncomfortable in front of the camera that I could guarantee an interesting portrait every time? This is the idea behind my latest series: The Taser Photoshoot. I've edited two different videos as well as a behind the scenes in the full post below.

I read that he had it powered up just enough to get the facial reaction that he wanted but without doing them any physical harm. I imagine he may not be allowed to use ‘police grade’ force on them

It’s also the context of the situation. It wasn’t being done with the intent of harm and they all knew they’d get to do on somebody else.
The single biggest reason besides taxes that we up and moved our families and business from the Detroit area.

Some of those people really looked like they needed to be tased.
Actually none of the women were topless. If you look at the Behind the Scenes video he explains that he didn't want shows in the videos because in 20 years of so he didn't want people viewing it and being distracted by the clothes being out of style or such.
The women wore either tube tops (provided) or just pulled their tops down to have a clean shoulder line.

I read some of the comments below the link. Some were going after the rent a cop for tasiing the woman in front of her kids. The world is upside down.

In it, he admits many of the shots are second takes, and that subjects wanted to try being tazed a second or third time.
Just found that interesting.

Incorrect, reactions with a real taser are always one of two: 1) complete pain and terror, 2) barely able to cope with it. Laughter is NEVER an option with a real taser.

When the father (I assume) comes out saying “Wat you doin man, dems my babies out dare. You trippin....” He’s not concerned about how the mother of his children is acting or any conception of civilized behavior. It’s truly scary how many people have this mentality.
Is that a cast or a polar bear sock puppet on his arm?
