I also wasn't interested in the Star Wars light sabre BBQ tongs, until I read that they make realistic light sabre sounds.

Back from the hectic spin of payday...GAH! I still have one place to go, but they don’t open until 1000, so I’m cooling my heels.
I’ve been to Walmart. I should go phone people about this and that, now, but I think I’ll take a nap with Jake instead.
I’m heading out for my last errand and I’m not looking forward to it, by any means.
I have yet to get some Pink Drink.
I wish I had pink drink but a nap would be better. I just put Kathleen to bed. Well, Tom did.
Done. I don’t know if it’s me, today or if people are deliberately obtuse. At any rate, I’m done dealing with idiots for one day.
My bills are paid, my daily drugs are on order, and all is right with the world. Maybe. At least MY world.

I was teaching a class here in NYC and couldn’t very well post while teaching, could I?
Not very well, no. It’s also hard to do needlepoint while teaching.
I had a nap for a bit, but I’m having overscheduling dreams. Last night I had a horrible one about Jamie driving the van and wedding invitations that included bags of marbles.
“Captain, you KNOW I created a restore point after that fiasco on Diagreb IV. Unfortunately, this newest upgrade was created to help avoid a hack of our systems. So they set encryption on everything that’s supposed to be invisible to the user. Unfortunately, the restore point was created before the encryption was set and now I can’t access it.
“And everything takes longer to load because of the decryption. It takes a bloody 15 seconds to switch the engine room from standard mode to battle mode. This is INSANE!!!”
I’ve been having those dreams where you’re not really asleep, but not really awake. THAT is disconcerting as all get-out, so I know what you mean about the marbleized invitations in the van.

There was more, but the worst part was Jamie driving the van. She kept going up stairs!
If you’re going to drive a staircase, at least go down so you can see what’s at the bottom!
I’ve been having chest pains all day, and I’m glad the day is over with so I can go lie down. I’ll watch the first few minutes of the news at 1500 and then I’m off for the day.
Whether I eat or not is another story. Maybe I’ll just have a protein shake and call it good. It will buffer the pills, too, so that may be what I eat for supper.
